Woot currently has a few different used Fire TV models on sale, for those of you interested. The best deal is the Fire TV Stick 4K for $24.99. This is a new (not used) device, but it comes with the older remote that does not have app shortcut buttons or the guide button. Similarly, the 3rd-gen Fire TV Stick is $19.99. Again, this is a new device but also comes with the older remote. Also available is a used 2nd-gen Fire TV box for $18.99. The performance of these older devices is great, but software support from Amazon will be coming to an end soon. It’s a good buy if you’re looking for something to tinker with, since it has a full USB port and microSD card slot. For example, it’s great for retro gaming on emulators. Lastly, there is a used 2nd-gen Fire TV Stick for $11.99 that DOES NOT come with a remote. I would pass on that, since you’re much better off paying the $8 more for the newer model with a remote.

My second gen box is still a viable streaming device after nearly 7 years. Another bonus is that it still has the old interface, so you don’t have that ultra narrow home bar.
Best box ever, I have 3 I bought years ago. All #3 are still working non-stop almost every day with zero issues. quiet, fast, flawless. ethernet cables,128 gb microcards. Cheap and just can’t be beat. hell two of them covered in dust not moved or touched in years.lol
