You can now watch Amazon’s entire new hardware announcement event which was streamed live, by invitation, to press and media on September 24th. The full 46-minute presentation can be found here, but if you’re just interested in the 10-minute Fire TV and Luna gaming portion, you can find that embedded above or here.
Do you think that Luna will work for the Fire TV 2 even though it isn’t officially supported?
The current list of supported Fire TV devices is just for launch and should expand to other devices eventually. It would be downright silly for Luna not to work on the Fire TV 2 since it was literally sold in a “Gaming Edition” bundle.
Wait, did he just say New Alexa Hub? What, Where, When :-)
Will this be similar to SmartThings hub?

I get it – NDA – but he did slip and let the cat out of the bag ;-)
I’m a full believer in cloud gaming.
Over the weekend Ubisoft had ‘The Division 2’ FREE to play for 72hrs. The game runs like crap on my PC, but playing it on Geforce Now, Nvidia’s cloud gaming service, I managed to max out the settings enjoying 1080p60 in seconds by using one of the thousands of rigs Nvidia gives access to gamers on their service. These rigs are equipped with the latest Nvidia GPUs and processors. If I were to buy them myself and upgrade my PC with similar parts it would cost me $800 right now.
So, with that said I’d definitely try Luna if they send me an invite. Cloud gaming is the future and will save us gamers a ton of cash in the long run.
