Got a Shield TV as my Christmas present to replace my aging Fire TV First gen, which I’ll still keep. Also got a Fire TV 4K for my Mums birthday present, combined they cost just over the price of the Apple TV4K in the UK which I was looking at, but as their is no way to get Kodi in it easily didn’t bother, cant see the Apple TV as being worth £180 for the 32GB model.
I’m really torn on if I should get a recast or not. Seems like a really cool device, but not sure I watch enough OTA tv to justify the $170.
Look at all those heavily discounted prices! Then you get to Apple and all you get is ten dollars off! Wow.. so generous.. and also why I refuse to buy an Apple TV, next to the sales price of all the other devices it’s just not worth it!
