Amazon is continuing its trend of offering free Luna cloud gaming for Prime members. For the month of March, those with a Prime subscription can play The Legend of Heroes: Trails from Zero, Get Packed: Couch Chaos, Mega Man 11, and Sail Forth for free. You just need a compatible device, like a Fire TV, phone, tablet, or computer to start streaming these games for free. Of course, having a gamepad like the Luna controller, which is currently on sale for $49.99, will make for the best gaming experience, but you can also use your phone as a controller. New games being added to Luna for paid subscribers of the Luna+ channel include Citizen Sleeper and Guacamelee! 2.
Could you make an article about the most affordable way to enjoy these games in a playable manner? I have a 2nd generation Fire TV stick. I assume that won’t work with this service. Or, even if it does work, it will be unplayable with my old Amazon Fire TV WiFi Direct controller. Are the games actually playable on a phone/tablet without a controller? Or maybe the phone controller actually works really well. Does it depend on the game? Is a PC better for some games, for example? Just confusing for me where I should even start.
I’m assuming you’re already a Prime member, so just download the Luna app on your Fire TV or phone/tablet and try them. Or just go to the Luna website and try to play them using your mouse and keyboard. They have all worked really well in my experience.
