‘The Grand Tour’ premiere sets Amazon streaming record

Amazon has revealed that the first episode of The Grand Tour, their new original motoring show that premiered last week, has broken their record for the most streamed debut episode of any Amazon original show. Amazon never reveals exact numbers for this kind of announcement, but they say “millions of Prime members streamed the first episode,” which “exceeded that of the previous number one show, The Man in The High Castle.” More impressively, the show is receiving amazing review numbers, with a 4.9 out of 5 star rating from over 12,000 reviewers on Amazon, a 9.6 out of 10 star rating on IMDB from over 10,000 reviewers, and a 97% fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes. The next episode of The Grand Tour will be made available this Friday, with 10 more episodes, coming one every Friday, after that. The former Top Gear trio who host the show have already committed to two more additional seasons with Amazon after the current one ends.
