Good question. I should take mine apart to see. I always assumed the rectangular thing on the top far-left, just before the last floating speaker, in the below image was the “integrated sub” but now I’m second-guessing myself.

I’m not seeing the synergy of integrating a fire tv with a sound bar especially if you have a new TV.
It would be useful for rv users with non smart TVs like Jensen and others I ordered one that arrived today just wondering if this unit will be upgraded to the new interface. Not listed for this soundbar or any for that matter
