The full-fledged TikTok app is now available for Fire TV owners in the US and Canada. The app was first released in the UK, France, and Germany earlier this year but now it has come overseas. A very underwhelming app called More on TikTok was widely released last year, but it offered nothing more than a series of compilation videos that highlighted TikTok content. This newer is the TikTok app you expect, with full access to “For You” and “Following” feeds, a Discovery page, and more. The app is compatible with all Fire TV, Fire TV Stick, Fire TV Cube, and Fire TV Smart TV models.

TikTok has released an official full-featured Fire TV app in the UK, France, and Germany. This is the same app that was released to Andoird TV earlier this year. Unfortunately, the app is not yet available in the US and other regions, but you can sideload the app using this guide and the entering 2133 (or aftv.news/2133) into my Downloader. Unlike the “More on TikTok” app released last year, which is essentially just a feed of curated videos from TikTok’s YouTube channel, this new app actually replicates the functionality of TikiTok’s popular mobile app. The app lets you view videos in both the “For You” feed or your “Following” feed. The app also has a personalized “Discover” page where you can find more videos categorized by content, creators, and categories.

TikTok has just released their first fully-featured app for streaming media players. While TikTok did release a Fire TV app last year, it was just a promotional app that contained some of their compilation videos. This new app TikTok app is the real deal, with nearly all of the same functionality as their mobile app, including video feeds, profiles, login, categories, and comments. The caveat is that access to the app is only available on a small number of Android TV / Google TV devices in only a few countries, however, the app can be easily sideloaded and does work on Fire TVs. TikTok has just released a new app, called More on TikTok, for all Amazon Fire TV devices. However, if you’re a fan of the video-sharing social network, prepare to be disappointed. The app is nothing more than a clunky cookie-cutter web app using the Amazon Creator web-tool that has plagued the Fire TV appstore with a steady stream of junk apps for years. The content in new TikTok app is simply just a subset of the exact same compilation and interview videos already found on TikTok’s YouTube channel. It doesn’t give you access to actual TikTok videos directly, like the mobile TikTok app does, and you’re better off just viewing its content directly on the TikTok YouTube channel using the YouTube app.
