Nvidia Shield TV & Shield TV Pro are currently on sale at their lowest prices ever

Nvidia has put both of their streaming media player models on sale. The regular Shield TV is on sale for $129.99, which is down from its regular price of $149.99. That matches the lowest price that it has ever been, which we last saw during Black Friday last month. The Shield TV Pro is on sale for $179.99, which is down from its regular price of $199.99. While it’s not much of a discount, it is the first time that the Pro has ever been this low. These are both the latest models, which were released just over a year ago. The main differences between the regular Shield TV and the Pro are the extra RAM, 2GB vs 3GB, and the extra storage, 8GB vs 16GB, that you get with the Pro. The Pro also runs a 64-bit OS, which lets you run apps that the regular Shield TV cannot run, like a Plex Server. The Pro also has 2 full-sized USB ports, while the regular Shield TV has a micro SD card slot.

NVIDIA Shield TV is on sale for $129 for Black Friday — Lowest Price Ever

Get the Shield TV for $129

The NVIDIA Shield TV is on sale for $129 for Black Friday. At just $21 off of the regular price of $149.99, it’s not much of a discount but it does match the lowest price that the latest 2019 cylindrical Shield TV has ever been. The new triangular remote is a bit odd, but certainly better than the one that came with the older Shield TV that it replaced. The only streaming device running Android TV that beats the Shield TV in specs is the Shield TV Pro, which is, unfortunately, not on sale. Unless you’re planning to run 64-bit apps, memory-hungry apps, or a Plex Server on the device, you’re likely not going to see much of a difference between the two models.

NVIDIA Shield TV and Roku Premiere are both currently on sale for great prices

If you’re looking for media player alternatives to the Fire TV line up, a few of the top choices have just gone on sale. First is the NVIDIA Shield TV Gaming Edition, which is on sale for $168. This is the bundle that comes with both the remote control and game controller. This price is about $10 more than the lowest price it has ever been, but its a good deal since the regular price is $200. If you don’t need a game controller, the remote only bundle is on sale for $149 as well. If you’ve been curious to try a Roku device, the Roku Premiere is on sale for $29.99, which is $10 off its regular price of $39.99. This is the first time the Roku Premiere, which was released just a few months ago, has ever been on sale. Remember that the Roku Premiere comes with a line-of-sight remote that requires being pointed at the player. The Roku Premiere+, which is a Walmart exclusive, is the better device due to its better remote, but it’s not on sale and is still priced at $49.99.
