Just as it did for Prime Day earlier this year, Amazon had a pair of Fire TV Smart TVs available at huge discounts for its Prime Early Access sale this week. The 50-inch Hisense U6 Fire TV was 70% off, which dropped its price down to $159.99, and the 55-inch Amazon Omni Fire TV was 80% off, which dropped it down to $109.99. While the Prime Day TV deals in July were available for several minutes after going live, both TV deals this time sold out in well under a minute, but there seemed to be a much larger stock of one than the other. As it tends to do with every large sale, Amazon is offering a free $10 credit when you purchase one of several $50 gift cards. Unfortunately, this time Amazon is only making the deal for purchasing a $50 Amazon Gift Card available to those that haven’t purchased one recently, so the landing page for this deal might say you’re not eligible. However, even if you don’t qualify by purchasing the Amazon Gift Card, you likely qualify for the free $10 credit if you purchase one of the other $50 gift cards. These are the participating $50 gift cards and the promo code to use with them to get the $10 credit: Amazon with code NEWGC2022, Panera with code PANERA22, Gap with code GAP22, Dinning Card (works at Cheesecake Factory, Red Robin, BJ’s, Outback, and more) with code DINING22, Entertainment Card (works at AMC, Grubhub, Dave & Buster’s, and more) with code YOU22, Fanatics with code TRUEFAN22, and Doordash with code DASH22. Just add a $50 gift card from any of the ones I just listed to your cart and enter the promo code to see if a message appears that says you will get the $10 credit. Note that the Doordash card is the odd one out and needs to be $100 to get $15 in free credit.
Update: I can confirm, from my own purchases, that you will get $10 for EACH code you use. You can’t use the same code twice, but each new code you use from the ones listed above will earn you an additional $10 credit.
The doorbuster lightning deal on the 55″ Amazon Omni Series Hands-Free 4K Fire TV for $109.99 is NOW LIVE! Amazon has put nearly all of its Fire tablets on sale for its Prime Early Access Sale and there are plenty of models to choose from, ranging from $44.99 for latest the Fire 7 all the way to $144.99 for the latest Fire HD 10 Plus with 64GB of storage. Amazon’s Prime Early Access Sale is in full swing and Fire TV Smart TVs are one of the main items drawing people in. There are some great deals, like the 58″ Insignia f30 Fire TV for $279.99, which is $40 less than it has ever been in the past, but also some horrible “deals” like Amazon’s 65″ Omni Fire TV for $699.99, which is $200 higher than it was during Prime Day. There will be a couple of killer doorbuster deals on Fire TVs during the sale, but if you aren’t able to buy them in time or aren’t interested in those models, here is a full list of all Fire TV Smart TV deals and how they compare to past prices to help you find the best deals. I expect prices will drop further for some of the weaker deals in the list, so I will be keeping this list constantly updated as prices change throughout the sales event. Read more ›

The doorbuster lightning deal on the 50″ Hisense U6 QLED 4K Fire TV for $159.99 is NOW LIVE! This TV deal will likely sell out in minutes so stop reading and just go buy it if you’re interested. At 70% off the regular price of $529.99, this is easily one of the best deals during Amazon’s Prime Early Access Sale. It’s also one of the best, if not THE best, Fire TV Smart TV available. You can read all about its long list of features here, but only after you’ve put your order in. If you miss out on this deal, be sure to check my full list of Fire TV Smart TV deals that are already live.
As predicted, the deal went live at 6 AM PT and, unfortunately, sold out in under a minute.
I just posted a roundup of all Fire TV Smart TV deals already live for Amazon’s Prime Early Access Sale, but it’s worth separately highlighting the 58″ Insignia F30 Series 4K Fire TV for $279.99 as the current best deal in the bunch. At 42% off the regular price of $479.99, this sale price is $40 lower than this TV has ever been in the past. There aren’t too many frills with this TV, but if you just want a big screen for as little as possible, this is the TV for you. The TV is 4K and supports HDR-10, so it isn’t void of all perks, and the slightly uncommon 58-inch size gives you a screen that is 11% larger than 55-inch models and 34% larger than 50-inch models, which are the sizes you usually get for this price. If you are planning to pick up one of the doorbuster TV deals coming up but miss out, then seriously consider picking up this TV instead.
Amazon has put all of its Echo Show models on sale for its Prime Early Access Sale, which isn’t surprising. However, what is surprising is that some are lower than they ever have been before and also include freebies like smart bulbs and smart plugs. Starting off, the Echo Show 5 w/ 2 Smart Bulbs is on sale for $34.99. While that matches the lowest it has ever been, the last time it was this price it didn’t include the free bulbs, so this sale is even better. Alternatively, you can get the Echo Show 5 w/ a Smart Plug for the same price of $34.99. Moving up, the Echo Show 8 w/ 2 Smart Bulbs is on sale for $69.99, which is the new lowest price it has ever been. The last lowest price, during Prime Day in July, was $5 more and didn’t include any freebies. Also at a new all-time low price is the Echo Show 10 for $169.99, which is $10 less than it has ever been before. Alternatively, you can get the Echo Show 15 for the same price of $169.99, which is also the new lowest price it has ever been. With the Echo Show 15 gaining the full Fire TV interface very soon, it has never ben a better time to buy one. See all Echo Show bundles on sale below, Read more ›
Amazon is selling the 3rd-gen Echo Dot with 2 GE Smart Bulbs for $17.99 or the Echo Dot with an Amazon Smart Plug for $17.99. Both of these deals match the lowest price that the older Echo Dot has ever been, but the last time it was this price there was only one smart bulb included, so this deal is technically slightly better. The two included GE CYNC Smart LED Light Bulbs normally sell for $28 and connect through either Bluetooth or WiFi, so they do not need a hub. If you opt for the smart plug, you’ll get Amazon’s own Smart Plug which normally sells for $25 but is currently on sale for $13.
Amazon has the 2nd-gen Fire TV Cube on sale for $59.99, which is half off its regular price of $119.99 and matches the lowest price it has ever been. If you want to save a bit more, you can get the Certified Refurbished version for $49.99, but note that with it you get the slightly older remote that doesn’t have app buttons or a guide button. It’s highly unlikely that the new 3rd-gen Fire TV Cube will be discounted during the Prime Early Access Sale, so if you want a deal on a Cube, this is likely your only option. The 2nd-gen Cube is still a damn good streaming device and outperforms everything but the newer model. Amazon never really has amazing fire/clearance sales to clear out older models, so we likely won’t see the older Cube get much lower than this price.
As part of its Prime Early Access Sale, Amazon has the Apple TV 4K 32GB on sale for $109.99, which is 39% off its regular price of $179.00. This is the latest version of the Apple TV with the much better remote that was released last year. This matches the lowest price that I’ve ever seen the Apple TV 4K sell for, so this is the best time to pick one up if you’re wanting to give Apple’s streaming device a try. The 64GB model is also on sale at $129.00, which is 35% off its regular price of $199.00 and also the lowest it has ever been. These prices are exclusively available to Prime members only.
Amazon currently has the Fire 7 Kids Tablet on sale for $59.99 which is the new lowest price it has ever been and beats out the last best price on Prime Day by $5. While that’s a great price, it’s available to everyone and not a Prime Early Access sale item. However, what is exclusive to Prime members is the Fire 7 Kids tablet bundle for $71.09 which includes the tablet, a kid’s stylus 2-pack, and a zip-up carrying sleeve. This bundle normally costs $144.97, so you’re saving just over 50% and getting it at the lowest it has ever been. The kid’s stylus normally costs $14.99 and the sleeve case normally costs $19.99, so you’re getting quite a bit by spending the extra $11 over the already great price for the tablet. This is the new 2022 Fire 7 tablet that just got released earlier this year with a 30% performance bump, twice the memory, and 40% longer battery life than the old model. Alternatively, you can get a bundle that includes the Fire 7 Kids Tablet, Kids Headphones, and a Screen Protector for $86.79, which is 47% off its regular price of $162.97 and also the new lowest price it has ever been.
Two of the best deals revealed for Amazon’s Prime Early Access Sale, which starts tomorrow October 11th, will be on a pair of Fire TV Smart TVs. At a discount of 80% off the 55-inch Amazon Omni Series 4K Fire TV, which will drop it to $111.99, and a discount of 70% off the 50-inch Hisense U67 QLED 4K Fire TV, which drops it to $158.99, these TVs will surely sell out fast so it’s important to be ready to buy them the second the lightning deal goes live. Amazon hasn’t revealed which day and time these deals will go live, so here’s your best guess based on past similar sales. Read more ›

Amazon has announced that, for the first time, there will be a second sales event exclusively for Prime members in one year. While it’s essentially a second Prime Day, the new sales event isn’t being called Prime Day and is instead called the Prime Early Access Sale. It will be held on October 11 and 12, but some deals start today. Read more ›
