Amazon is continuing to roll out Prime Day Deals on its devices and the latest batch of deals to go live are on Fire tablets. The Fire HD 8 is on sale for $44.99, which is half off the regular price of $89.99 and matches the lowest price it has ever been in the past.
For a bit more you can get the Fire HD 8 Plus for $64.99, which is 41% off its regular price of $109.99. The “Plus” bumps RAM from 2GB to 3GB and adds wireless charging. All of Amazon’s hands-free Fire TV Omni Series 4K TVs are now on sale for Prime Day — Some are great deals & some horrible deals

The majority of the various Fire TV Smart TV models have already been on sale for weeks now, but Amazon saved a few models to trickle out later. Going on sale this morning are the rest of Amazon’s own 4K Fire TV Omni Series TVs that have hands-free Alexa control as their standout feature. Starting at the cheapest is the 43″ Fire TV Omni on sale for $239.99, which is 41% off the regular price and is $45 less than it has ever been in the past. Next is the 50″ Fire TV Omni on sale for $279.99, which is 45% off its regular price and $60 less than it has ever been in the past. The 55″ Fire TV Omni went on sale for $299.99 a few days ago and is still available. That’s 46% off and $65 less than all past deals for that model. Unfortunately, the good deals on Omni Series TVs ends there because while the 65″ is listed for $499.99 and the 75″ is listed for $749.99, those “Prime Day Deals” are bullshit and borderline deceptive. Those two largest sizes have been available at those prices to anyone for litterally months now. Amazon just flipped them to be “Prime Exclussive Deals” this morning without actually dropping the price, which is just down right scummy. The 43″, 50″, and 55″ sales are legitimit deals that are worth considering, but skip on the 65″ and 75″ sizes for now to see if they actually do get cheaper between now and the end of Prime Day on Wednesday. Compare all the existing Fire TV Smart TV deals here to pick the right one for you. Read more ›

These Prime Day Deals are better if ordered through Alexa — Luna Controller for $34.99!

Amazon always offers a few Alexa-exclusive deals for Prime Day and this year is no exception. These deals must be ordered by voice using Alexa to get these prices. The Luna Controller is $34.99 through Alexa, which is half off the regular price of $69.99. Ordering through Alexa saves you an extra $5 over the current Prime Day deal of $39.99. The Echo Dot w/ Clock is $32.99 through Alexa, which is 45% off the regular price of $59.99. This isn’t on sale for regular Prime Day shopping but my guess is it will be $34.99 if it does go on sale outside of this Alexa-exclusive deal. The Ring Video Doorbell Pro is $119.99, which is 29% off its regular price of $169.99, and the Ring Indoor Cam is $44.99, which is 25% off its regular price of $59.99. Both of those Ring products also aren’t on sale right now unless you use Alexa to order them. If you’re not comfortable buying through Alexa, you can also say “Alexa, add [ITEM] to my cart” and then checkout normally on Amazon. Adding the item to your cart through Alexa and then completing the purchase through the Amazon website will still get you these Alexa-exclusive prices. Read more ›

Fire TV Stick Lite will be $11.99 for Prime Day and other upcoming sales announced

Amazon has announced several more upcoming Prime Day deals that you can expect to go live sometime between now and July 12. Among them is the Fire TV Stick Lite which will be on sale for a staggeringly low price of $11.99. That’s $6 less than it has ever been in the past and the lowest price that any Fire TV model has been. Ever. While that is a temptingly low price, I still strongly encourage you to get the Fire TV Stick on sale now for $16.99 because having TV power and volume controls on the remote that comes with the Fire TV Stick is well worth the extra $5 you spend over the Fire TV Stick Lite, which does not have TV controls on its remote. Other upcoming deals include a 32-inch Fire TV Smart TV for $49.99 and a 50-inch 4K Fire TV Smart TV for $99.99. Read on for all the newly revealed upcoming deals. Read more ›

Fire TV Stick 3rd-Gen is on sale for a ridiculously low $16.99 — New Lowest Price Ever

It appears as though Amazon is trickling out early Prime Day deals on Fire TV devices one day at a time. After the Fire TV Cube went on sale yesterday for $59.99, we now have the Fire TV Stick on sale for $16.99. That is a shockingly low price that is lower than we’ve ever seen in the past. This sale is $3 less than both Black Friday and Prime Day from last year. To put it more into perspective, this price for the newest Fire TV Stick model is less than the Fire TV Stick Lite has ever been in the past. The Fire TV Stick Lite will be $11.99 at some point during Prime Day, but this 3rd-gen Fire TV Stick at $16.99 is a MUCH better buy thanks to the included remote that comes with TV power/volume controls, which the Fire TV Stick Lite remote does not have. Forget the Lite model and get this if you don’t need 4K support. If the app shortcut buttons on the remote bother you, you can still buy the same Fire TV Stick with the older remote also on sale for $16.99. However, you do also lose the Guide button on the remote if you go with the older one. Either way, the latest Fire TV Stick for $16.99 is likely going to be the best-selling deal of Prime Day 2022. Heck, this is worth buying just to have a spare remote for this price!

55″ Amazon 4-Series 4K Fire TV just dropped to $284.99 for Prime Day — New Lowest Price Ever

One of the few Fire TV Smart TVs that has not gone on sale yet for Prime Day has just gone on sale this morning. The 55-inch 4K Amazon Fire TV 4-Series TV is now on sale for $284.99 as an early Prime Day deal. That’s 45% off the regular price of $519.99. More importantly, because Fire TV Smart TVs are constantly on sale, this deal is $65 lower than this TV has ever been in the past, making it a legitimately great deal. This TV is part of Amazon’s own brand of smart TVs which were released late last year and are almost certainly manufactured by TCL, which puts them a step above similarly speced TVs from Insignia and Toshiba. This is a 4K 2160p TV with support for HDR10, HLG, and AV1 decoding. It’s powered by the same MediaTek MT9020 (MTK T31) quad-core 1.5 GHz CPU and Mali-G52 MP1 504 MHz GPU as nearly every Fire TV Smart TV. It has 2GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage. There are 4 HDMI ports, of which one is eARC capable, and it has 802.11ac WiFi, Ethernet, Bluetooth, optical audio out, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a USB 2.0 port. It also supports Apple AirPlay and Miracast for mobile casting and runs Fire OS 7. Alternatively, you can get the 55-inch 4K Amazon Fire TV Omni for $299.99 which is identical except it also includes a mic array for hands-free voice control. There’s also the 55-inch 4K Insignia F30 Series Fire TV on sale for $279.99, but I’d choose the Amazon 4-Series for $5 more due to it getting new features sooner and being made by TCL. See all the live Fire TV Smart TV deals here which I update daily.

Fire TV Cube drops to new all-time low of $59.99 for Prime Day — That’s 50% off!

Amazon is continuing to roll out Prime Day Deals daily and today brings the best one yet. The Amazon Fire TV Cube is on sale for $59.99, which is half off the regular price of $119.99. This is a fantastic deal for the fastest and most powerful Fire TV device Amazon has ever made. This is the first time the Fire TV Cube has ever been available for this low. For comparison, this deal is $20 less than both the Black Friday and Prime Day sales from last year. If you want to save an extra $10, you can choose to go with the Certified Refurbished Fire TV Cube for $49.99, which is also a new all-time low price. Both sales are for the newest version of the Fire TV Cube with all the bells and whistles. The Fire TV Cube supports all the best video formats including 4K UHD video at 60fps, Dolby Vision, HDR10+, HDR10, and Dolby Atmos audio. It doubles as an Echo device thanks to its built-in Alexa smart speaker and microphone array for hands-free use. The included remote can control your TV, soundbar, and AV receiver, but there are also IR blasters built into the Cube itself to control your home theater equipment with voice commands. It packs in 2GB of RAM, 16GB of storage (double the storage of all Fire TV Stick models), 802.11ac WiFi, and comes with an Ethernet adapter that normally runs $15 separately. This is a great device at a great deal and the price won’t get any lower than this anytime soon.

Amazon Echo Show 5 on sale for $34.99 for Prime Day — New Lowest Price Ever

Amazon has just put the Echo Show 5 on sale for $34.99 for Prime Day. At 59% off the regular price of $84.99, this is a staggeringly good deal, even for Prime Day. Amazon Smart Plug on sale for $12.99 for Prime Day — New Lowest Price Ever

The Amazon Smart Plug is on sale for $12.99 as an early Prime Day Deal. This sale is nearly half off the regular price of $24.99 and is the new lowest price that Amazon’s smart plug has ever been. Amazon quietly updated this plug last year and this is the latest model. This smart plug doesn’t do anything special compared to the dozens of other smart plugs on the market, but its advantage comes in its simplicity because it comes pre-linked to your Amazon account. This simplifies installation and will actually automatically connect it to your WiFi if you’ve saved your WiFi password to Amazon in the past. There’s also the advantage of not needing to use a separate app for this plug since it is set up and controlled through the Alexa app. Overall, if you just need a basic smart plug to control something’s power remotely or by voice, it’s tough to beat the Amazon Smart Plug, especially at this all-time low price. Note that you can also get the Amazon Smart Plug + Echo Dot bundle for just $24.99. Read more ›
