Kasa Smart Plug is just $3.49, Eero Pro 6 Router is $114, and other Alexa-exclusive Prime Day deals

Amazon has a new set of Alexa-exclusive Prime Day Deals. These prices can only be had if you either place your order through Alexa or, at least, ask Alexa to add the items to your cart. Once in your cart using Alexa, you can then checkout on Amazon’s website as usual and still receive the Alexa-exclusive discounted prices. The best deal of the bunch is the Kasa Smart Plug Mini for $3.49, which is 85% off the regular price of $22.99. That matches the lowest price it has ever been because this same Alexa-exclusive deal was available during Prime Day 2021. Read on for the full list of Alexa-exclusive deals and how they stack up to past deals. Read more ›

[SOLD OUT] 32″ Insignia 720p Fire TV Smart TV is on sale for $49.99 — Lightning deal will sell out fast!

The 32-inch Insignia 720p F20 Series Fire TV is now on sale for $49.99 as a Prime Day lightning deal. This is a “doorbuster” deal that will surely sell out fast, so if you’re at all interested in this TV, stop reading and go place your order! This ridiculously low price is 72% off the regular price of $179.99. This TV originally dropped to $99.99 when early Prime Day deals kicked off a few weeks ago, which was the lowest it had ever been prior to this current sale. It’s worth noting that this TV is a 2018 model, which just means it is likely running Fire OS 6, but at this price that is hardly a reason not to buy it if you can.

Update

As expected, this lightning deal sold out quickly. The deal went live at 6:00 AM PT and 50% of the TVs were claimed in the first 10 minutes. The remaining available TVs took another 15 minutes to sell and the entire deal was over less than 25 minutes after it started. Congrats to anyone that was able to buy one. For those that missed out, you can try again (likely, tommorrow) when the lightning deal for the 50-inch 4K Amazon Fire TV Smart TV for $99.99 goes live. Of course, I’ll post as soon as it goes live.

When the upcoming $49.99 and $99.99 Fire TV Smart TV lightning deals will go live

Amazon revealed a few days ago that there will be two ridiculously good lightning deals on Fire TV Smart TVs during Prime Day. One is the 32-inch Insignia F20 Series 720p Fire TV for $49.99, which is 72% off its regular price of $179.99, and the other is the 50-inch Amazon 4-Series 4K Fire TV for $99.99, which is 79% off its regular price of $467.99. These are “doorbuster” deals designed to create alluring headlines and draw people into Prime Day. When these deals go live, they will surely sell out very quickly. Amazon won’t reveal when each deal will go live, but there is a good indicator for which day each TV deal will be available. Read more ›

50″ Hisense QLED 4K Fire TV Smart TV is now on sale for $339.99 for Prime Day — New Lowest Price Ever

Amazon has just put the 50-inch Hisense 4K QLED Fire TV Smart TV on sale for $339.99 for Prime Day. That’s 36% off the list price of $529.99 and it’s the new lowest price that this TV has ever been. This TV dropped to $399.99 when early Prime Day deals first kicked off a few weeks ago, but now it is at its full Prime Day discount. This is the newest Fire TV Smart TV on the market and it was released just over a month ago. It’s very likely the Fire TV Smart TV with the best display thanks to a laundry list of features like a Quantum Dot panel, 600 nits of peak brightness, full array local dimming with 32 zones, a variable refresh rate, 4K resolution, and support for both Dolby Vision and HDR10+. Under the hood is the standard MediaTek MT9020 (MTK T31) quad-core 1.5 GHz CPU and Mali-G52 MP1 504 MHz GPU found in nearly every Fire TV Smart TV, along with 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage. Connectivity includes four HDMI ports (at least one is HDMI 2.1), of which one is ARC capable, composite in, optical audio out, a 3.5mm headphone jack, Ethernet, 802.11ac WiFi 5, Bluetooth, Apple AirPlay, Miracast, and a USB port. While this TV falls in the middle of the pack as far as screen size, it makes up for it with what I can only assume is the best-looking Fire TV Smart TV screen on the market. Fire TV Stick Lite is on sale for $11.99 for Prime Day — New Lowest Price Ever!

Prime Day isn’t technically until tomorrow, but Amazon has already put many devices on sale. Included among them is the Fire TV Stick Lite for $11.99. At 60% off the regular price of $29.99, this is an amazingly low price and I don’t say that lightly. The lowest price the Firestick Lite has been before this sale was $17.99, so this knocks another $6 off an already great price. That said, I highly recommend spending an extra $5 and getting the regular Fire TV Stick for $16.99 instead of the Lite. While the two Sticks are identical, the remote of the regular Fire TV Stick has TV power and volume controls, while the remote of the Lite does not. It might seem like a small addition, but it is well worth the extra $5 for the convenience. Also worth mentioning is that the Fire TV Stick Lite with the older remote is also on sale for $11.99. The older remote is identical to the newer one except it doesn’t have the app shortcut buttons on the bottom, so the choice is yours whether you see those buttons as useful or as useless clutter.

Fire TV Stick 4K on sale for $24.99 for Prime Day — Refurb is just $22.49

With all Fire TV models now on sale for Prime Day, Amazon has dropped the Fire TV Stick 4K to $24.99, which is half-off the regular price of $49.99. This matches the lowest price that the Fire TV Stick 4K has ever been. While the Firestick 4K is the oldest Fire TV Stick model, if you just need a solid 4K streaming device but don’t want the extra bells and whistles of the Fire TV Stick 4K Max, which is on sale for $34.99, then the regular Fire TV Stick 4K is still a great buy. You can see a full comparison of the 4K and 4K Max here to help decide between the two. If you want to save a bit more, you can consider getting the Certified Refurbished Fire TV Stick 4K for $22.49, but that does come with the older remote, which is missing the guide and app shortcut buttons.

Fire TV Stick 4K Max is on sale for $34.99 for Prime Day — Most Powerful Firestick Ever

Amazon has kicked off Prime Day Deals on all Fire TV models a day early. The Fire TV Stick 4K Max is on sale for $34.99, which is 36% off the regular price of $54.99. This price matches the lowest price it has ever been in the past for all customers, but Amazon has offered the Firestick 4K Max to select customers for $29.99 through special promo codes in the past, so this isn’t technically the lowest price that it has ever for those customers that qualified for that killer deal. The Fire TV Stick 4K Max was released late last year and is the most powerful Fire TV Stick ever. The only model that beats it is the Fire TV Cube, which is also on sale for an all-time low of $59.99 right now. If you don’t need all that power and want to save, the Fire TV Stick 4K is on sale for $24.99, which is a great deal for a device that still holds its own compared to the 4K Max.

3rd-gen Echo Dot is $17.99 & 4th-gen Echo Dot w/ Clock is $32.99 — List of all Echo deals for Prime Day

A bunch of Amazon Echo Prime Day deals went live last week and a few more just dropped this morning. Among them is the 3rd-gen Echo Dot + Free Smart Bulb for $17.99. That is the new lowest price that the previous generation Echo Dot has ever been, regardless of whether it includes a free smart bulb or not. You can still get the newer Echo Dot + Smart Bulb bundle for $19.99 if you prefer the round version, but I can see why a lot of people still prefer the older Echo Dot for how slim it is. Another new Echo deal made available today is the 4th-gen Echo Dot /w Clock + Free Smart Bulb for $32.99, which is 56% off its regular price of $74.98. That beats out the previous best Echo Dot /w Clock price by $2. There are many more Echo and Echo Dot deals live for Prime Day so read on for the full list. Read more ›
