Amazon original docu-series ‘All or Nothing: A Season with the Arizona Cardinals’ to premiere on July 1

NFL Films and Amazon have teamed up to create All or Nothing: A Season with the Arizona Cardinals, a documentary-series that gives viewers an unprecedented look inside an NFL fracnhise’s complete season. Each season focuses on a different team, with the first season following the Arizona Cardinals’ 2015 season from draft day through the NFC Championship game. All eight episodes of the first season will be available to Prime members on July 1 in the US. All or Nothing will also be the first Amazon series to be made available in Spanish. Oddly, Amazon says the show will be available “from July 1 to August 31.” It’s unclear if the series will no longer be available after August 31, or if Amazon just loses its exclusivity on that date, so mark your calendars if you’re interested in watching this series so you don’t miss it.

NFL partners with Amazon for exclusive new ‘All or Nothing’ reality series

NFL films has announced All or Nothing, a new behind-the-scenes reality show coming exclusively to Amazon Video this summer. The show will follow a single NFL team through a year. The first season, spanning eight hour-long episodes, will revolve around the Arizona Cardinals’ 2015 path to the NFC championship game. It’s unclear at this time how the show will be made available to customers. GeekWire reports the series will not be part of Prime Video, which leads me to believe it may be made available for free with ads.

NFL Now comes to the Amazon Fire TV

NFL Now, the National Football League’s brand new online network, has just been released on the Amazon Fire TV. The NFL announced their new online network near the beginning of the year with promise that it would be making its way to streaming devices before the end of the year. They’ve made good on that promise by first releasing the app on the Apple TV last month, and second on the Fire TV today.

The app is a great step forward, but still not what cord-cutting NFL fans are after. The app is missing the one feature most fans want, which is the ability to stream live games. What the app does offer are highlight videos, live press conference analysis, and access to the league’s NFL Films vault. Some of this content is free, while full access requires a $1.99 a month subscription. The NFL has stated that games will eventually be available a la carte through the app, but they’ve refused to comment on live streams.
