NBA League Pass is now available through Amazon Prime Video Channels — Free for the next week

It leaked a few months ago, but now it’s actually possible to sign up NBA League Pass through Amazon Prime Video Channels. Spotted first by Variety, the new subscription option will run you $28.99 per month or $169 for the full season. Subscribing grants customers access to hundreds of regular-season live out-of-market games. Signing up also gives you on-demand game replays and classic matches. All of this comes streaming through Amazon directly through he Fire TV interface or through the Prime Video app on any number of devices, without needing to use a separate app. On the Fire TV, you’ll also be able to use the X-Ray feature to look up player and team stats in real-time while watching the game. NBA League Pass is free for Prime members to try until December 20th.

It appears as though the NBA will be offering their NBA Leauge Pass streaming subscription service through Amazon’s Prime Video Channels. A tweet from an Amazon employee shows the NBA subscription plan being offered on an Amazon Fire TV device, even though such a subscription is not yet available to the general public. If the plan becomes available, it means that live NBA games will be available through Amazon’s Prime Video platform for the first time. Read more ›
