Playcast Media has developed a Fire TV app for their cloud gaming service. The app starts public beta today. The service allows you to play high-end video games on the Fire TV which would normally be too computationally intensive for the Fire TV’s processor. Amazon Fire TV capable of at least 12 player multiplayer gaming
Eric Froemling, the developer of the immensely fun multiplayer game BombSquad has posted the above image of the Fire TV connected to a whopping 12 controllers. It appears to be 6 controllers via bluetooth, 4 controllers via USB, and 2 smartphones via WiFi.
