Amazon has just put several of their tablets on sale. For the most part, these sale prices are not too impressive, but if you’re looking for an easy gift idea for someone, you can’t go wrong with a tablet, and it’s unlikely they’ll be any cheaper than this before Christmas. The Fire 7″ Tablet is $39.99, which falls under the “Okay Price” point according to my buyer’s guide. Prime Day and Black Friday prices are usually around $33 to $35, so this is a usual sale price outside of those special days. The Fire HD 10 tablet is $199.99, which is slightly above my buyer’s guide’s “Okay Price” of $179.99. Oddly enough, this tablet did not go on sale during Prime Day, so while this isn’t a great price overall, it’s as low as you’ll likely see for a while. Lastly, the Fire Kids Tablet is $89.99, which like the other deals, is an “Okay Price” point.
Amazon is offering a bundle which includes the Amazon Tap and Fire Tablet for $119.98. This is the first time a bundle like this has ever been available. The included tablet is the 16GB version which costs $69.99, so buying the two items together saves you $80 off of their regular prices. Referring to my Amazon Device Buyer’s Guide, the combined “Great Price” for these two devices comes out to $113.32, so this deal is pretty good if you’re in the market for both of these two items. The bundled sale price ends tonight at midnight.
Target.com currently has the Amazon Fire 7″ Tablet for just $28.33. That is the new lowest price that I’ve ever seen for this tablet. Target is matching Amazon’s $33.33 price, but taking an additional 15% off at checkout. It seems like online stock is limited because some storage and color varients are already sold out, so if you’re interested in picking up this tablet at this rock bottom price, you better act fast. Be sure to check availability of all colors if the one you prefer is sold out: Black, Pink, Blue, Orange
It looks like all colors have sold out, but it’s still worth checking for yourself since it’s not uncommon for a few to be available sporadically throughout the day. You can also try price matching at a physical Target store.
