43″ Amazon Fire TV Omni Series 4K TV is on sale for $239.99, matching its lowest price ever

Amazon has just put the 43″ Fire TV Omni Series 4K TV on sale for $239.99. At 41% off the regular price of $409.99, this price matches the lowest price this TV has ever been, which was during this past Prime Day. While this is an Amazon-branded TV, it is very likely made by TCL. It supports HDR10 and HLG video and has a built-in microphone array for hands-free Alexa commands without needing to use the remote’s microphone. Powering the TV is a MediaTek MT9020 (MTK T31) quad-core 1.5 GHz CPU and Mali-G52 MP1 504 MHz GPU with 2GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage. There are 4 HDMI ports, of which one is eARC capable, and it has 802.11ac WiFi, Ethernet, Bluetooth, optical audio out, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a USB 2.0 port. This TV also supports Apple AirPlay and Miracast for mobile casting and it runs Fire OS 7.

[UPDATED 7/13] Full list of every Fire TV Smart TV on sale for Prime Day — Continuously being updated

Originally posted: 6/21, Last updated: 7/13

As announced last week, Amazon has kicked off Early Prime Day Deals today with nearly all Fire TV Smart TVs being discounted at fantastic prices. Don’t let these being “early” deals turn you off because these are legitimately great prices with most of these TV prices being lower than they ever have been in the past. Highlights include the 43in Pioneer 4K for $199.99, which is the cheapest a Fire TV Smart TV with Dolby Vision has ever been, the 55in Amazon 4K Omni Fire TV Smart TV for $299.99, which is a full $70 less than it has ever been in the past, and the 75in Insignia 4K Fire TV for $599.99, which is the first time a 75 inch Fire TV has dropped below $600. Here is the full list of Fire TV Smart TV deals that are now live, with each deal compared to its lowest previous price. Read more ›

All of Amazon’s hands-free Fire TV Omni Series 4K TVs are now on sale for Prime Day — Some are great deals & some horrible deals

The majority of the various Fire TV Smart TV models have already been on sale for weeks now, but Amazon saved a few models to trickle out later. Going on sale this morning are the rest of Amazon’s own 4K Fire TV Omni Series TVs that have hands-free Alexa control as their standout feature. Starting at the cheapest is the 43″ Fire TV Omni on sale for $239.99, which is 41% off the regular price and is $45 less than it has ever been in the past. Next is the 50″ Fire TV Omni on sale for $279.99, which is 45% off its regular price and $60 less than it has ever been in the past. The 55″ Fire TV Omni went on sale for $299.99 a few days ago and is still available. That’s 46% off and $65 less than all past deals for that model. Unfortunately, the good deals on Omni Series TVs ends there because while the 65″ is listed for $499.99 and the 75″ is listed for $749.99, those “Prime Day Deals” are bullshit and borderline deceptive. Those two largest sizes have been available at those prices to anyone for litterally months now. Amazon just flipped them to be “Prime Exclussive Deals” this morning without actually dropping the price, which is just down right scummy. The 43″, 50″, and 55″ sales are legitimit deals that are worth considering, but skip on the 65″ and 75″ sizes for now to see if they actually do get cheaper between now and the end of Prime Day on Wednesday. Compare all the existing Fire TV Smart TV deals here to pick the right one for you. Read more ›

Amazon’s own brand of Fire TV Smart TVs have just dropped to new lowest prices ever — Now up to 40% off

Amazon has just dropped the prices of its own line of Fire TV Smart TVs to new all-time lows. Ever since their arrival late last year, Amazon’s own Omni Series and 4-Series line of Fire TV Smart TVs have been available for less than list price more often than not, but today’s drop is significantly lower than they have ever been in the past, especially for the larger sizes. The largest 75″ Omni Series, which has a list price of $1,099.99, has been as low as $899.99 in the past, but is now available for $749.99. The 65″ Omni Series, which has a list price of $829.99, is discounted the most. It has been as low as $599.99 in the past, but has now dropped another $100 to $499.99. 65″ Fire TV Omni Series Hands-Free TV on sale for $599.99 and other Smart TV Deals for Cyber Monday

Amazon held out on discounting one variant of its Fire TV smart TVs during the Black Friday weekend sale and, as I guessed, it has now gone on sale as a Cyber Monday exclusive deal. The model in question is the 65-inch Fire TV Omni Series Smart TV which is now on sale for $599.99. At $230 off its regular price of $829.99, this is by far the largest discount on any of the Amazon-built Fire TV Smart TVs. This TV features 4K Dolby Vision and hands-free mics, like a Fire TV Cube, so that you can control it by voice without needing to use the remote or an external Echo. You can read up on all of its specs in this article from when it was first revealed just a couple of months ago. For comparison, the similar 55″ Toshiba M550 Series Fire TV Smart TV which also has hands-free mics and just went on sale for Cyber Monday for the first time ever is priced at $649.99 despite being a smaller TV. Amazon’s own 43″ Fire TV Omni and 4-Series 4K Smart TVs are on sale for the first time ‚ Starting at $269.99

As part of its Early Black Friday Deals, which has put all Fir eTV models on sale this morning, Amazon has put its own 43″ Fire TV Smart TVs on sale for the first time ever. The 43″ Fire TV Omni Smart TV is on sale for $299.99, which is 27% off its regular price of $409.99, and the 43″ Fire TV 4-Series Smart TV is on sale for $269.99, whic is also 27% off its regular price of $369.99. Amazon put the 50″ and 55″ versions of these TVs on sale last week, and that sale is still live right now, but this is the first time the smaller 43″ sizes have been on sale. These are all 4K TVs with support for HDR 10 and HLG high dynamic range. To get support for Dolby Vision you have to step up to the 65″and 75″ Omni models, but those aren’t on sale. The main difference between the Fire TV Omni and Fire TV 4-Series is that the Omni version has microphones for hands-free control, like a Fire TV Cube. TO read up on all the specs and differences, see my article about when they were announced just over a month ago.

Amazon’s self-built Omni and 4-Series Fire TV Smart TVs are on sale for the first time — Up to $150 off

The Amazon-built Fire TV Smart TVs that were just released last month have gone on sale for the first time. For the Fire TV Omni Series, which is the premium version that features hands-free voice capabilities (in addition to the voice remote) like the Fire TV Cube, has the 50-inch on sale for $359.99 and the 55-inch on sale for $409.99. Both of those prices are $150 off the regular price of $509.99 and $559.99, respectively. The Fire TV 4-Series, which has standard voice capabilities through the remote, has the 50-inch on sale for $329.99 and the 55-inch on sale for $379.99. Those prices are $140 off the regular prices of $469.99 and $519.99, respectively. These are all 4K TVs with support for HDR10 and come with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. Unfortunately, the larger 65-inch and 75-inch Omni models, which are the only ones that support Dolby Vision, are not on sale, nor are the 43-inch models. These deals are comparable to the ones currently going on for other Fire TV Smart TVs. Compared to Insignia Fire TV Smart TVs, which tend to have the lowest prices of all Fire TV Smart TV models, the 50-inch Amazon 4-Series is $20 less than the comparable Insignia model, while the 55-inch 4-Series is $10 more than the comparable Insignia model.

Nearly all Fire TV models and Accessories are on sale — Better than average deals

Amazon has put nearly all Fire TV models and accessories on sale. These prices aren’t rock bottom deals as we see during Black Friday, but they’re definitely better than the average sales that come along all the time. If you weren’t impressed by the new Fire TV Stick 4K Max, then consider buying the regular Fire TV Stick 4K for $34.99, which is down 30% from its regular price of $49.99. That’s just $10 more than the lowest it has ever been. If you don’t need 4K, then the Fire TV Stick is $27.99 and the Fire TV Stick Lite is $21.99. Those are 30% and 27% off their regular prices, respectively, and are both within $5 of their lowest prices. At the other end of the lineup is the flagship Fire TV Cube for $94.99, which saves you $25 and comes within $15 of the lowest price it has been in the past. As for accessories, the Fire TV Recast DVR is $169.99, down 25%, and the Fire TV Blaster is $19.99, down 43%. Lastly, the just announced Fire TV Omni Smart TV 50-inch is $399.99, which is 22% off the regular price of $509.99, and the Fire TV 4-Series Smart TV 50-inch is $359.99, which is 23% off its regular price of $469.99. The main difference between the two is that the Omni has mics for hands-free Alexa control, like the Fire TV Cube.
