Amazon has put the previous generation Fire 7 Tablet on sale for $29.99 for Prime Day. This matches the lowest price that this tablet has ever been. That’s for the 16GB model, but for just $3 more, the 32GB model is on sale for $32.98. That version is $10 less than it has ever been in the past and is a much smarter buy. Note that these are the older Fire 7 models that were released in 2019. The new Fire 7 Tablet was just released last week, so it may not go on sale for Prime Day at all because of how new it is. Also on sale are the Fire 7 Kids Tablet and Fire 7 Kids Pro Tablet, which are both $49.99 and also match their lowest price ever. Amazon has not released kids versions of the new Fire 7, so these older models are your only option for an inexpensive kids tablet that come with protective cases, 2-year worry free guarantee, and a 1-year Amazon Kids+ subscription.

Amazon has put all of their Fire tablets on sale. At the bottom of the line is the Fire 7 on sale for $39.99. At just 20% off, that’s a pretty mediocre discount as far as Amazon tablets go. It’s also worth noting that the Fire 7 is now almost 2 years old and Amazon typically updates this tablet every 2 years, so there might be a new model released this year. Next is the Fire HD 8 on sale for $64.99, which is a much better discount since it’s just $10 more than the lowest price this tablet has ever been. This Fire HD 8 was released last year, so we may not see a new model until next year. The Fire HD 8 Plus is on sale for $84.99 and it too is just $10 over its lowest price ever. The “Plus” shares a lot of features with the non-Plus Fire HD 8 but adds an extra 1GB of RAM, faster charging, and wireless charging. Amazon’s flagship Fire HD 10 is on sale for $94.99, which is the largest discount in the main lineup at 37% off its regular price of $149.99. All of Amazon’s Fire tablets are still on sale for Prime members and this weekend is very likely the last days of the sale before prices go back up. The Fire HD 8 for $54.99 and Fire HD 10 for $109.99 are easily the best deals of the bunch because both are just a few bucks above the lowest price that these tablets have ever been. If that’s too much to spend, the Fire 7 for $34.99 is still a good buy because it’s just $5 more than its lowest past sale price. The Fire 7 Kids Edition for $74.99 and the Fire HD 8 Kids Edition for $94.99 are also decent sale prices if you value the 2-year replacement guarantee, 1-year FreeTime membership, and other extras that come with the kids edition tablets.
