The biggest thing that differentiates the Echo Plus from the regular Echo is that the Echo Plus has a built-in smart home hub. This means that it can control smart devices, like smart lights, without the need for a separate hub. This greatly simplifies the setup process and reduces the number of apps you need to use. Additionally, the Echo Plus is able to execute basic voice commands, such as “turn on the lights,” on the device itself, so that it continues to function if your internet or network goes down.
