Fire TV Stick 3rd-Gen drops to $19.99 in Black Friday Sale that’s Now Live — New Lowest Price Ever

The Fire TV Stick 3 is on sale for $19.99 in Amazon’s Early Black Friday Sale where all Fire TV devices are on sale and much more. This is the first time that the 3rd-gen Firestick has ever been this low. For reference, it was $22.99 during Prime Day this year and $27.99 during Black Friday last year. If you’ve been thinking of picking up Amazon’s latest 1080p streamer, don’t hesitate to do so at this new all-time lowest price ever. If you’re cross-shopping the Fire TV Stick Lite, which is on sale for $17.99, you absolutely should pay the extra $2 and get the regular model instead because, unlike the Lite version, this one includes TV controls on the remote which are well worth the extra cost. If you have a 4K TV or are planning to buy one, you really should consider getting the Fire TV Stick 4K on sale for $24.99 or the Fire TV Stick 4K Max on sale for $34.99. This is the first time that the new 4K Max has ever been on sale.

As part of its Early Black Friday Deals, which has put all Fir eTV models on sale this morning, Amazon has put its own 43″ Fire TV Smart TVs on sale for the first time ever. The 43″ Fire TV Omni Smart TV is on sale for $299.99, which is 27% off its regular price of $409.99, and the 43″ Fire TV 4-Series Smart TV is on sale for $269.99, whic is also 27% off its regular price of $369.99. Amazon put the 50″ and 55″ versions of these TVs on sale last week, and that sale is still live right now, but this is the first time the smaller 43″ sizes have been on sale. These are all 4K TVs with support for HDR 10 and HLG high dynamic range. To get support for Dolby Vision you have to step up to the 65″and 75″ Omni models, but those aren’t on sale. The main difference between the Fire TV Omni and Fire TV 4-Series is that the Omni version has microphones for hands-free control, like a Fire TV Cube. TO read up on all the specs and differences, see my article about when they were announced just over a month ago.

Amazon Fire TV Cube is on sale for $79.99 — Lowest Price Ever

The Amazon Fire TV Cube is on sale at $79.99 as one of many Amazon Black Friday Deals that have gone live this morning. This price matches the lowest price that the Fire TV Cube has ever been, which we last saw during Prime Day this year. The Fire TV Cube is Amazon’s most powerful Fire TV ever released. That said, you may want to consider getting the Fire TV Stick 4K Max instead, which is on sale for the first time ever at $34.99. The two perform fairly equally, but the Fire TV Cube is the superior device. The Fire TV Cube also offers hands-free control, a built-in IR blaster for controlling home theater equipment hands-free, 16GB of internal storage (compared to 8GB on the 4K Max), and includes Amazon’s Ethernet adapter, which costs $15 on its own.

Fire TV Stick Lite is on sale for $17.99 for Black Friday — Lowest Price Ever

Amazon has kicked off Black Friday deals on Fire TV devices super early this year. The least expensive deal is the Fire TV Stick Lite for $17.99. This matches the lowest price that it has ever been at 40% off its regular price of $17.99. While actual Black Friday is still over a week away, don’t expect this or any of the live Fire TV deals to get any cheaper between now and then. If you’re thinking of buying the Firestick Lite, you should really consider spending just $2 more on the 3rd-gen Fire TV Stick on sale for $19.99. That is the new lowest price it has ever been. The two devices are nearly identical with the main difference being that the regular Firestick comes with a remote that can control your TV and Soundbar’s power and volume. That is well worth the extra money.

Amazon Echo Show 5 w/ Free Smart Bulb is on sale for $39.99 — New Lowest Price Ever!

Amazon has just dropped the Echo Show 5 w/ Free Smart Bulb to $39.99, which is 57% off its regular price of $94.98. This is the first time the Echo Show 5 has ever been available for this low, even without a free bulb, beating even its Prime Day price of $44.99. This sale is for the 1st-gen model but don’t let the fact that there is a newer model available discourage you from this deal because the two are nearly identical. The only improvement that the 2nd-gen model has is a 1080p 2-megapixel front camera, compared to the 720p 1-megapixel camera on the older model. If you’re wondering, both cameras can be blocked with physical shutters. The 1st-gen Echo Show 5 that is on sale actually has a 3.5mm audio out port which the newer model does not, so if you don’t plan to make many video calls with it, the older model is actually the better buy. Only the Sandstone (white) model is available with a free bulb at $39.99. You can get the Charcoal (black) model for the same price, but a bulb is not included. Lastly, the Certified Refurbished version of each color is $34.99, which is also a new all-time low.

Amazon’s self-built Omni and 4-Series Fire TV Smart TVs are on sale for the first time — Up to $150 off

The Amazon-built Fire TV Smart TVs that were just released last month have gone on sale for the first time. For the Fire TV Omni Series, which is the premium version that features hands-free voice capabilities (in addition to the voice remote) like the Fire TV Cube, has the 50-inch on sale for $359.99 and the 55-inch on sale for $409.99. Both of those prices are $150 off the regular price of $509.99 and $559.99, respectively. The Fire TV 4-Series, which has standard voice capabilities through the remote, has the 50-inch on sale for $329.99 and the 55-inch on sale for $379.99. Those prices are $140 off the regular prices of $469.99 and $519.99, respectively. These are all 4K TVs with support for HDR10 and come with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. Unfortunately, the larger 65-inch and 75-inch Omni models, which are the only ones that support Dolby Vision, are not on sale, nor are the 43-inch models. These deals are comparable to the ones currently going on for other Fire TV Smart TVs. Compared to Insignia Fire TV Smart TVs, which tend to have the lowest prices of all Fire TV Smart TV models, the 50-inch Amazon 4-Series is $20 less than the comparable Insignia model, while the 55-inch 4-Series is $10 more than the comparable Insignia model.

Walmart is selling the Tivo Stream 4K for $15 — Possibly a fire sale to clear stock

The Tivo Stream 4K has had a bit of a rocky history and its future is uncertain. Tivo seemed to be stepping away from the device category but then backtracked to say they’re still supporting it. Since then, slightly updated models started to appear and there have been hints that it will be updated to run Andorid 10, which has been reassuring. That said, the device has been heavily discounted so often that it’s hard not to wonder if retailers are trying to get rid of it. Now it seems like several Walmart stores have them listed for as little as $15, which is a new low for the streamer. You can’t buy it online at that price, but your local store may have some in stock if you’re willing to take the gamble on a very inexpensive streamer that may or may not be around for much longer.

Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K is on sale for $24.99 — New Lowest Price For New Remote

Amazon has just put the Fire TV Stick 4K on sale for $24.99 as part of a large sale that includes many other Amazon devices. At 50% off its regular price of $49.99, this matches the lowest price that the Fire TV Stick 4K has ever been, however, this is the first time that the newer bundle with the new remote has ever been this low. The new remote includes a channel guide button, which opens the Fire TV’s built-in live TV program guide, and 4 app shortcut buttons, which can be remapped to open any app using my Remapper utility. If you prefer the Fire TV Stick 4K with the older remote, that bundle is also available for $24.99. While the new Fire TV Stick 4K Max is a very impressive device, it’s over twice the price at $54.99 and has never been on sale. If you don’t need the absolute best 4K stick, then the regular Fire TV Stick 4K is still a great buy, especially now that it has been rejuvenated a bit with the newer remote.

If you wait for Black Friday in about a month, you’ll probably be able to save an extra $40. The 500GB model can store about 75 hours of HD video, while the 1TB model will double that to 150 hours. While you can record more content at once with the 4 tuner model, you are still limited to 2 simultaneous streams on either model. Most Fire TV Sticks and Cubs are still on sale, but some devices are at slightly higher prices than they were last week.

Most Fire TV models are on sale at nearly their Black Friday / Prime Day prices

Amazon has put most Fire TV models on sale at some of the best prices we’ve seen all year. The 3rd-gen Fire TV Stick is on sale for $24.99, which is 38% off and is also just $2 above the lowest price it has been. The Fire TV Stick 4K drops to $29.99 when you use promo code ADDFTV at checkout. Get these deals on HBO Max, Showtime, and Plex Pass subscriptions before they expire

There are currently a few notable deals on streaming services available. The ad-free plan for HBO Max is on sale for $7.49/month for the first 6 months. That’s 50% off the regular price of $14.99. This offer is likely an attempt to keep all the Prime Video Channel customers subscribed, since they just lost service earlier this week. The deal is for new or returning subscribers, but cannot be used by existing subscribers, and it ends Sept. 26. If you’re a Prime member, you can get 2 months of Showtime for $0.99/month through Prime Video Channels. That’s 90% off the regular price of $10.99/month. That offer ends on Sept. 19. Alternatively, you can subscribe through Showtime directly to get 6 months for $4.99/month when you use promocode MMANUTS when you sign up. Lastly, Plex is offering 20% off a Lifetime Plex Pass when you use promocode PLEXLIKEAPRO. That brings the one-time cost down from $119.99 to $95.99. This deal ends tonight at midnight.

The ad-free plan costs $6.99/month and is not on sale. Note that, unlike most Prime Video Channel subscriptions, subscribing to Discovery+ through Prime Video Channels does not currently give you access to the Discovery+ app. You’ll only be able to stream through the main Fire TV interface or through the Prime Video app on any device. One thing the Prime Video Channel subscription of Discovery+ does give you, however, is access to 11 live streaming channels which will be integrated into the Fire TV’s live program guide. This offer ends tomorrow, Sept. 15.

Nearly all Fire TV models and Accessories are on sale — Better than average deals

Amazon has put nearly all Fire TV models and accessories on sale. These prices aren’t rock bottom deals as we see during Black Friday, but they’re definitely better than the average sales that come along all the time. If you weren’t impressed by the new Fire TV Stick 4K Max, then consider buying the regular Fire TV Stick 4K for $34.99, which is down 30% from its regular price of $49.99. That’s just $10 more than the lowest it has ever been. If you don’t need 4K, then the Fire TV Stick is $27.99 and the Fire TV Stick Lite is $21.99. Those are 30% and 27% off their regular prices, respectively, and are both within $5 of their lowest prices. At the other end of the lineup is the flagship Fire TV Cube for $94.99, which saves you $25 and comes within $15 of the lowest price it has been in the past. As for accessories, the Fire TV Recast DVR is $169.99, down 25%, and the Fire TV Blaster is $19.99, down 43%. Lastly, the just announced Fire TV Omni Smart TV 50-inch is $399.99, which is 22% off the regular price of $509.99, and the Fire TV 4-Series Smart TV 50-inch is $359.99, which is 23% off its regular price of $469.99. The main difference between the two is that the Omni has mics for hands-free Alexa control, like the Fire TV Cube.
