BMW showed off its massive “BMW Theater Screen” earlier this year at CES without revealing which vehicles would feature the 31-inch 8K screen powered by Amazon’s Fire TV for Auto system. BMW has just debuted what is certainly the best implementation of Fire TV in a vehicle and, likely, the best TV watching experience in a vehicle, period. The BMW Theater Screen, as it is called, is an ultra-wide 31-inch screen that power-unfolds from the ceiling of the car with Amazon’s built-in Fire TV system. Sporting an 8K resolution, auto-dimming ambient lights, and window shades that automatically close when the screen deploys, it’s probably a better viewing experience than most home theaters.
