The Amazon Fire TV Cube is on sale at $79.99 as one of many Amazon Black Friday Deals that have gone live this morning. This price matches the lowest price that the Fire TV Cube has ever been, which we last saw during Prime Day this year. The Fire TV Cube is Amazon’s most powerful Fire TV ever released. That said, you may want to consider getting the Fire TV Stick 4K Max instead, which is on sale for the first time ever at $34.99. The two perform fairly equally, but the Fire TV Cube is the superior device. The Fire TV Cube also offers hands-free control, a built-in IR blaster for controlling home theater equipment hands-free, 16GB of internal storage (compared to 8GB on the 4K Max), and includes Amazon’s Ethernet adapter, which costs $15 on its own.
Amazon has kicked off Black Friday deals on Fire TV devices super early this year. The least expensive deal is the Fire TV Stick Lite for $17.99. This matches the lowest price that it has ever been at 40% off its regular price of $17.99. While actual Black Friday is still over a week away, don’t expect this or any of the live Fire TV deals to get any cheaper between now and then. If you’re thinking of buying the Firestick Lite, you should really consider spending just $2 more on the 3rd-gen Fire TV Stick on sale for $19.99. That is the new lowest price it has ever been. The two devices are nearly identical with the main difference being that the regular Firestick comes with a remote that can control your TV and Soundbar’s power and volume. That is well worth the extra money.

Here’s a list of the best Black Friday deals on Fire TV apps, games, VPNs, and streaming services. The list includes discounts on Jackbox games, IP Camera apps, CBS, Hulu, Sling TV, Plex, Noggin, CuriosityStream, IPVanish, Surfshark, NordVPN, and more. Read more ›
Get the TCL Fire TV Soundbar for $75
Amazon has just put the TCL Fire TV Edition Soundbar on sale for $75 for Black Friday. This is the new lowest price that this soundbar has ever been, beating out the last best deal by a whopping $32. This soundbar normally sells for $199.99, so at 62% off, this is easily one of the best Fire TV deals we’ve seen during Black Friday. This soundbar by TCL runs the Fire TV operating system and all of its capabilities are identical to having a Fire TV Stick 4K connected to it, so it supports 4K video at 60fps, Dolby Vision, HDR10+, and HDR10. Since the Fire TV Stick 4K is on sale for $29.99, you’re essentially just paying $45 for the soundbar aspect, which is a ridiculous bargain. The soundbar features 6 speakers and an integrated subwoofer that together produce 120 watts of output power. It comes with Amazon’s latest Fire TV Edition remote, which I much prefer to the old one, as well as an HDMI cable, optical cable, and mounting hardware.
Get a Fire TV Remote for $6.99
Woot is currently selling Refurbished Genuine Fire TV Remotes for $6.99 for Black Friday. These have been “certified by Amazon to look and work like new.” I specifically mention that these are genuine because there are numerous knock-offs (note that they are missing the Amazon logo) of these remotes that may not be as good as the original, which Amazon stopped selling long ago. While these remotes originally shipped with the old Fire TV Stick, they are compatible with every Fire TV, Fire TV Stick, and Fire TV Cube model. Note that they don’t have any voice capabilities and they cannot control your TV’s power or volume. If you’re looking for an inexpensive replacement remote for the Fire TV, a backup remote to keep around just in case, or even a second remote for 2-player games, this is a rare chance to buy the real thing at a great price. These are shipped by Amazon (since Amazon owns Woot) and shipping is free for Prime members.
Get Philo for 1 month for $15
Philo is currently offering $5 Off your 1st month for Black Friday. That might not seem like much, but it’s 25% off since Philo is among the least expensive streaming services at only $20 per month. This deal gives you access to over 60 channels for 1 month for $15, with no contract and no obligation to continue. When you click this link you should see a message briefly appear at the top of the page letting you know that the promotion has been applied. You shouldn’t need to do it, but if you’re asked for a promo code at any point, just enter BLACKFRIDAY to get the discount.
Get Hulu for just $1.99/month
Hulu is offering a pretty great deal for Black Friday. Sign up for their standard streaming plan and pay just $1.99 per month for 12 months. That’s a huge 76% off of the regular price of $5.99 per month. There is no contract with this deal so you can try it for a month and pay just $1.99, keep it through the holidays and pay about the price of a Starbucks coffee, or keep it for the full 12 months and pay just $23.88. Both new and returning customers are eligible, as long as you haven’t had a subscription in the last 3 months. This offer ends on 11/30.
Get Noggin for $0.99/month
If you have little ones in the house and want an ocean of great educational kids content to help you survive the holidays, this deal is for you. Kids streaming service Noggin is currently just $0.99/month for 2 months. That’s 87% off of the regular price of $7.99/month. This deal is through Prime Video Channels, so you can either access the content directly through Prime Video or use the subscription to activate the dedicated Noggin Fire TV app. Noggin has tons of popular kids shows including Dora the Explorer, Blue’s Clues, Blaze, Paw Patrol, and more. Remember that you can quickly cancel a Prime Video Channel subscription online in just a few clicks on this page. When you cancel you will be able to continue accessing the content until the next renewal date, so you can subscribe and cancel immediately to get 1 full month for $0.99 without worrying about forgetting to cancel.
Get a Free Tivo Stream 4K w/ Sling TV Subscription
Get 1-Month Free w/ Sling TV Subscription
Sling TV is offering a few Black Friday deals of their own for new subscribers. If you pre-pay for 2 months of service, they’ll give you a Tivo Stream 4K for Free. Since Sling TV costs $30/month, it’s like getting 2 months for $10 if you were already thinking of getting a $50 Tivo Stream 4K. If you’re not interested in the Android TV media player, you can instead get 1 month Free of Sling TV after paying for the first month. For that offer, just scroll down the page and look for the deal button listed under the “BOGO” offer. You’re free to cancel your subscription after the included 2 months of service with either of these offers. If neither of those offers sounds appealing, you can also just get 1 month for $20, which is a savings of $10. That offer is at the very bottom of this page.
They’re one of the last deals to go live, but Amazon has now put all Fire tablets on sale for Black Friday. The Fire 7 is on sale for $39.99, which, at just $10 off, is not an impressive discount considering it was $34.99 earlier this year and $29.99 last Black Friday. The Fire HD 8 is $54.99, which is a much better deal because it matches the lowest price that it has ever been. The Fire HD 8 Plus is $74.99, which also matches its lowest price. Both Fire HD 8 versions are discounted by $35 off and the Plus version comes with more RAM, wireless charging, and a faster charger. The Fire HD 10 is on sale for $79.99, which at 50% off is the best deal of the bunch by far. Also on sale are all of the Kids Edition versions of these tablets, which come with a 2-year worry-free replacement garantee, a 1-year subscription to Amazon Kids+, and more.
Get the Echo Buds for $79.99
The Echo Buds, Amazon’s wireless earbuds with Alexa integrated, are getting fitness tracking capabilities. Built-in accelerometers can now track steps to calculate the distance, pace, and calories burned during runs and walks. Workouts can be tracked by saying “Alexa, start my run” and progress can be checked by saying “Alexa, how far have I run?” Fitness data and additional information can be viewed in the Alexa app. Amazon Echo Buds are currently on sale for $79.99 for Black Friday, which is $50 off of their regular price of $129.99. This matches the lowest price that they have ever been. Echo buds offer Bose active noise reduction and hands-free Alexa. They last for up to 5 hours of music playback on their own and the battery built into the included carrying case can extend that to 20 hours. Popping them into the case for 15 minutes will charge them for 2 hours of use.
Get these Roku Black Friday Deals
Roku has put several of their streaming media players on sale for Black Friday. If you’ve been thinking of giving the platform a try, these sales make it the best time to do so because all of these deals are the lowest prices that these devices have ever been. The Roku Premiere is on sale for $24.00, down from its regular price of $39.99. It’s the cheapest 4K media player you can get but be warned that this low price comes at the expense of a cheap remote which must be pointed at the box and does not have voice capabilities or TV controls. For those reasons, you’re much better off paying $5 more and getting the Roku Streaming Stick+ for $29.00, which normally sells for $49.99. While it’s the oldest model in Roku’s line up, having come out in 2017, Roku keeps it around because it gets the job done of being the closest competitor to the Fire TV Stick 4K and has an equally capable remote that can control your TV, doesn’t need to be pointed, and has voice search. At the top of Roku’s line up is the Roku Ultra on sale for $69.00, which normally sells for $99.99. Compared to the Roku Streaming Stick+, the Ultra adds Dolby Vision, an Ethernet port, a USB port for external media access, and a headphone jack to the remote. Lastly, the Roku Streambar is on sale for $99.99, which is down the least at just $30 off of its regular price of $129.99. The Roku Streambar is essentially a Roku Streaming Stick+ packed into a tiny soundbar.
Get the Shield TV for $129
The NVIDIA Shield TV is on sale for $129 for Black Friday. At just $21 off of the regular price of $149.99, it’s not much of a discount but it does match the lowest price that the latest 2019 cylindrical Shield TV has ever been. The new triangular remote is a bit odd, but certainly better than the one that came with the older Shield TV that it replaced. The only streaming device running Android TV that beats the Shield TV in specs is the Shield TV Pro, which is, unfortunately, not on sale. Unless you’re planning to run 64-bit apps, memory-hungry apps, or a Plex Server on the device, you’re likely not going to see much of a difference between the two models.
Get a Lifetime Plex Pass for 25% off
Plex is offering a rare discount on their Plex Pass subscription for Black Friday. Enter code SURVIVETHESEASON during checkout to receive 25% off a Lifetime Plex Pass. That brings the one-time cost for access to all of Plex’s premium features down from $119.99 to $89.99. Compared to the never-ending monthly Plex Pass cost of $4.99, you’ll have paid off the lifetime Plex Pass after 18 months and never pay anything again. Plex is the best media player for accessing all of your personal movies, shows, music, and photos, from all of your devices. While apps like Kodi and MrMC do much of the same, I’ve personally switched over to Plex for its unified database that keeps all of my devices in sync and for its simplicity, especially for accessing my media outside of the home. Most of Plex’s features are free, but a few premium features require a Plex Pass. Some of those premium features that I use most are hardware transcoding, which is a must for accessing content outside of your home network, TV show intro skipping, and remote content downloading, which comes in very handy when poor cellular/wifi speeds are too low to stream. If you are already using or are planning to use Plex for all of your personal media, the one-time lifetime subscription is definitely the way to go and this sale is the best time to buy it.
Get the Fire HD 10 for $79.99
Amazon has put the Fire HD 10 Tablet on sale for $79.99 for Black Friday. This matches the lowest price the tablet has ever been, which is $70 off of the regular price of $149.99. We first saw this price during Prime Day last month and here it is now for anyone, including non-Prime members, to take advantage of. The Fire HD 10 is Amazon’s best tablet and features a 10.1″ 1920×1200 (1080p) screen, an 8-core 2.0 GHz processor, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of storage, USB-C charging, and a microSD card slot for expanded storage. There is also a 64GB model that is on sale for $119.99, a discount of $70 off of its regular price of $189.99. Amazon has not put the Fire HD 8, Fire HD 8 Plus, or Fire 7 tablets on sale, but they may be saving those discounts for closer to actual Black Friday. They do have all of the Kids Edition Tablets on sale for $59.99, $79.99, and $129.99 for the 7in, 8in, and 10in models.
If you’re in the market for a new TV, nearly every Fire TV Edition television has gone on sale for Black Friday. In the list below, I’ve labeled all of the sets that are at their lowest prices ever, which is most of the sizes and variations. These TVs come with the Fire TV interface built-in. The advantage of that over just connecting a Fire TV Stick or Fire TV Cube to a regular TV is mainly the simplicity of having one remote that does everything and having the built-in OTA tuner integrated directly into the Fire TV’s interface. Here is the full list of all TVs that are on sale. Read more ›
Get the new Echo Dot for $28.99
Amazon has put all of their new 4th-gen Echo Dots, in multiple configurations, on sale for the first time for Black Friday. At least expensive is the Echo Dot with a Free Smart Bulb for $28.99. The Echo Dot is normally $49.99 on its own and the bulb usually ads another $10, so you’re saving $31 with this bundled deal. Alternatively, you can pay an extra $5 to get the Echo Dot with a Smart Plug for $33.99, but you give up the free bulb. The Echo Dot with Clock and Free Smart Bulb is $38.99 and that too is available with a Smart Plug instead for $5 extra. If you want the new Echo Dot with a fun tiger or panda face print, the Echo Dot Kids Edition is $38.99 and includes a 1-year subscription to Amazon Kids+, as well as a 2-year worry-free replacement guarantee. There are no free bulbs with the Kids Edition, but you can add the Echo Glow smart light for just $10. Lastly, the older 3rd-gen Echo Dot with a Free Smart Bulb is $18.99 and it too can be had with a Smart Plug instead for $5 extra. All of these prices are the lowest they have ever been and it’s the first time that the new spherical 4th-gen Echo Dots have ever been on sale.
Get the new Amazon Echo for $69.99
Amazon has gone live with their Black Friday deals on most of their devices, including most Echos. The all-new 4th-gen Amazon Echo is on sale for $69.99 and Amazon is throwing in 2 Philips Hue smart bulbs for free. The Echo normally costs $99.99 and the bulbs would be an additional $30, so you’re saving $60 with this discounted bundle. This is the first time that the new spherical Echo has ever been on sale. It may be hard to differentiate them in pictures, but the Amazon Echo, at 5.7 inches wide, is considerably larger than the similar-looking new Echo Dot and, therefore, sounds much better. This latest version of the Amazon Echo comes in 4 colors, Charcoal, White, Blue, and a limited edition (PRODUCT) RED that was just made available last week. All colors cost the same. While the included Philips Hue bulbs normally require a Hue Hub to work, the Echo has a built in hub so it allows you to control these bulbs without the need of a seperate hub. If that’s too pricey, the Echo Dot with a free bulb is on sale for $28.99 and if you want better audio, the Echo Studio with 2 free bulbs is on sale for $159.99.
Get the Fire TV Stick 4K for $29.99
All of Amazon’s Black Friday Prices for Fire TV devices have already gone live. Among the best deal is the Fire TV Stick 4K for $29.99. While it has been $5 less in the past and is the oldest model in Amazon’s Fire TV line up, I still consider it the best Fire TV Stick to buy today. The extra $12 you pay over the Fire TV Stick Lite, which is on sale for $17.99, gets you Amazon’s most capable remote which can control your TV’s power, volume, and more. The extra $2 over the Fire TV Stick 3, which is on sale for $27.99, is a no brainer because you get 4K capabilities, 50% more RAM, and Dolby Vision support. The one and only disadvantage to the Fire TV Stick 4 K over the other Fire TV models is that it is running the slightly older Fire OS 6 instead of Fire OS 7, which is on all of the other devices. It will hopefully get upgraded to the newer OS in the future, but it doesn’t make much of a difference anyway. Bottom line, if you need to save the extra $12, get the Fire tv Stick Lite, otherwise, get the Fire TV Stick 4K or step it up to the Fire TV Cube on sale for $79.99 to get the best Fire TV. The Fire TV Stick 4K is on sale for £29.99 in the UK and CDN$ 44.99 in Canada.
