The Sideclick Remote Attachment is on sale for $14.99 at Amazon and at Best Buy as part of their early Black Friday deals. This price, which is 50% off its regular price of $29.99, matches the lowest price it has ever been in the past. The Sideclick adds a column of universal remote buttons to the side of your Fire TV remote. Each button can be programmed individually to replicate the action of any button on a remote you own. The labels on the buttons (power, plus, minus, etc…) are just suggestions since any button can be programmed to do anything. The Sideclick comes with everything you need to attach it to any Fire TV, Fire TV Stick, and Fire TV Cube remote. It’s also compatible with all Fire TV Smart TV remotes, except the remotes that have the home button above the circular select button. Learn all about the Sideclick Remote Attachment in my review. Amazon and Best Buy also have the Sideclick for Nvidia Shield TV, Chromecast, Roku, and Apple TV on sale for $14.99 or less.
Amazon announced its new fitness tracker, the Halo View, at its big hardware event earlier this year but it’s now available to pre-order. Better yet, since we’re in the middle of Black Friday week, Amazon has already discounted the device from its regular price of $79.99 to a sale price of $49.99. The Halo View comes in two band sizes, a small/medium, recommended for wrists that are between 5.12-7.68″ around, and a medium/large for wrists that are 6.3-8.86″ around, but the device is the same size regardless. It can track your steps, heart rate, and blood oxygen levels, in addition to providing activity and sleep scores. The battery is said to last up to 7 days and it comes in 3 colors.
Amazon put its Eero 6 mesh routers on sale at the start of this week but most of them have just dropped even further today to new all-time low prices. These deals start with the single Eero 6 Router for $77, which is $13 less than it has ever been in the past and $52 off its regular price of $129. At the upper end is the Eero Pro 6 3-Pack for $449 and there is a bundle for every price point in between to fit your needs. The sweet spot for most people is the Eero 6 3-Pack for $167, which includes one router and 2 extenders. These all create WiFi-6 networks that would go along perfectly with the Fire TV Stick 4K Max on sale for $34.99, which is the first Fire TV to support WiFi-6. Continue for the full list of all Eero 6 products/bundles on sale, as well as an explanation of the differences between Eero 6 and Eero Pro 6 routers and the differences between Eero Routers and Eero Extenders. Amazon’s Black Friday deals on its devices continue to trickle out. The 3rd-Gen Echo Dot w/ Free Color Smart Bulb has gone on sale for $19.99. This bundle was $1 cheaper last year, which is the lowest it has ever been, but it included a white bulb instead of a color bulb. Buying it with or without the bulb is the same price, so the bulb truly is free. Also available starting today is the 3rd-gen Echo Dot with a Ring Video Doorbell for $41.99. At $3 less than this bundle was during Prime day this year, this is the new lowest price this bundle has ever been. Even though the 4th-gen Echo Dot, which has not gone on sale yet, does exist, the 3rd-gen model holds its own since many prefer it for its smaller size. Amazon rightfully kept making it, despite the new model being released, because it certainly has its advantages and sounds great for its small size.
Amazon has just put the Luna Controller on sale for $49.99, which matches its limited introductory price and is the lowest price it has ever been. Even if you never try the Luna Cloud Gaming service, this is still hands-down the best gamepad for Fire TV devices due to its Fire TV integration and flexibility. It connects directly to Luna over Wi-Fi, bypassing the device you’re gaming on, for the lowest possible latency. When not used for Luna, this controller can also connect wirelessly via Bluetooth or wired via its USB-C port. When connected over USB, it doesn’t need batteries installed. On Fire TVs, the hand-off from Bluetooth for controlling the Fire TV to Wi-Fi for Luna gaming is seamless and automatic. Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and USB-C connections are supported on Fire TVs, Windows PCs, Macs, and Android phones/tablets for either local or cloud gaming through Luna. For iPhones and iPads, however, it only works with Luna via its direct Wi-Fi connection, so keep that in mind. If you do any kind of Fire TV gaming, this is the best controller to have, and, as a perk, it works well on other devices as well. Amazon also sells a Phone Clip for $12.99 to connect your phone directly to the controller. Lastly, there are numerous bundles for this controller and Fire TVs/Tablets, but none of them save you anything over buying the devices and controller separately.
Amazon is continuing to trickle out Early Black Friday deals on its devices. All Fire TV models are still on sale at all-time low prices and this morning the Echo Show 5 went on sale for $44.99 to match. This is the latest 2nd-gen model that was just released earlier this year. At 47% off its regular price of $84.99, this deal is the new lowest price the latest Echo Show 5 has ever been, beating out its previous record low by $10. For just $5 more, you can get a Blink Mini camera with the Echo Show 5 for $49.99, making this an even better bargain. Also going on sale this morning is the 4th-gen Echo with a Free Smart Bulb for $59.99. While that too is the lowest it has ever been, it’s a price that we’ve seen in the past but I don’t expect it or the Echo Show 5 to drop any further when actual Black Friday rolls around.
Amazon has kicked off its full Black Friday Prices for Fire TV devices and easily the best deal is the brand new Fire TV Stick 4K Max for $34.99. At 36% off its regular price of $54.99, this is the first time that the newest Firestick has ever been on sale. It’s certainly early for Black Friday, but make no mistake that this is Amazon’s Black Friday price and it will not drop any lower than this when actual Black Friday rolls around. The Fire TV Stick 4K Max outperforms all other Fire TV models except for the 2nd-gen Fire TV Cube, which is also on sale for $79.99. If you’re cross-shopping the Max and the regular Fire TV Stick 4K, which is on sale for $24.99, take a look at this comparison between the Fire TV Stick 4K and Fire TV Stick 4K Max. Go here to see all of the live Black Friday deals on Amazon’s devices.
Amazon has launched its Black Friday prices on Fire TV devices much earlier than usual this year and that includes several devices. Among them is the Fire TV Recast for $129.99. That’s for the 500GB 2-tuner model that normally sells for $229.99. The 1TB 4-tuner model is on sale for $179.99, which is also $100 off its regular price of $279.99. These allow you to record free over-the-air channels and stream them live to all of your Fire TVs, phones, tablets, and Echo Shows. Also on sale is the Fire TV Blaster for $19.99, which normally sells for $34.99. This allows you to add hands-free control of your TV, soundbar, and other home theater equipment, as long as you have a Fire TV Stick and Echo device. Read on for a list of other accessories that are on sale that can improve your Fire TV expereince. Read more ›
The Fire TV Stick 3 is on sale for $19.99 in Amazon’s Early Black Friday Sale where all Fire TV devices are on sale and much more. This is the first time that the 3rd-gen Firestick has ever been this low. For reference, it was $22.99 during Prime Day this year and $27.99 during Black Friday last year. If you’ve been thinking of picking up Amazon’s latest 1080p streamer, don’t hesitate to do so at this new all-time lowest price ever. If you’re cross-shopping the Fire TV Stick Lite, which is on sale for $17.99, you absolutely should pay the extra $2 and get the regular model instead because, unlike the Lite version, this one includes TV controls on the remote which are well worth the extra cost. If you have a 4K TV or are planning to buy one, you really should consider getting the Fire TV Stick 4K on sale for $24.99 or the Fire TV Stick 4K Max on sale for $34.99. This is the first time that the new 4K Max has ever been on sale.
As part of its Early Black Friday Deals, which has put all Fir eTV models on sale this morning, Amazon has put its own 43″ Fire TV Smart TVs on sale for the first time ever. The 43″ Fire TV Omni Smart TV is on sale for $299.99, which is 27% off its regular price of $409.99, and the 43″ Fire TV 4-Series Smart TV is on sale for $269.99, whic is also 27% off its regular price of $369.99. Amazon put the 50″ and 55″ versions of these TVs on sale last week, and that sale is still live right now, but this is the first time the smaller 43″ sizes have been on sale. These are all 4K TVs with support for HDR 10 and HLG high dynamic range. To get support for Dolby Vision you have to step up to the 65″and 75″ Omni models, but those aren’t on sale. The main difference between the Fire TV Omni and Fire TV 4-Series is that the Omni version has microphones for hands-free control, like a Fire TV Cube. TO read up on all the specs and differences, see my article about when they were announced just over a month ago.
