Today is the last day to buy the Echo Dot designed by fashion designer Diane von Furstenberg for $59.99. Tomorrow, at 8:59 Am PDT, the price increases to $69.99. The “Midnight Kiss” print, seen above, is the only one of the 3 limited designs to receive enough pre-orders to be produced. The second most popular print, called “Ikat,” has only reached 82% of its pre-order goal and, with only 1 day to go, it will very likely not be produced. Last month, Amazon launched its 2nd set of crowdfunded products which were 3 different Echo Dots designed by fashion designer Diane von Furstenberg. The first of those 3 designs, called Midnight Kiss, has reached the minimum order threshold. This means that it will, in fact, be produced and released. If you’re interested in one, you should order it by August 13 because the $59.99 price will increase to $69.99 after that date. The limited-edition Echo Dot will be released between Dec. 2021 and Mar. 2022. The black and white Ikat design has received 51% of necessary orders needed for production and the Twigs design is at 17%, so it’s unlikely that either of those two designs will receiving the necessary pre-orders needed by the August 13 deadline for them to be produced.
