The Tablo 2-tuner DVR has just gone on sale for $147. Apart from a very short one-time sale price on Black Friday in 2014, this is the new lowest price this OTA tuner has ever been. Tablo allows you to watch and record free over-the-air content using your Fire TV and the free Tablo App. You simply connect the Tablo to your network and stream live content to all of your devices. If you want to use its DVR capabilities to record content, you just need to connect external storage. Tablo just announced a new model with 64GB of built-in storage, but I recommend this model to most people because its pair of USB ports allow you to connect any size external hard drive or flash storage you want, without having to pay a premium for the limited built-in storage. The 4-tuner model has also gone on sale for a decent price of $244.99. Tablo may be clearing out stock of these two models, since they now have a new device, so this might be one of the few chances to pick up the less expensive models while they’re on sale.
