I’m a longtime reader, but I can’t remember. But can you store videos on the SD cards and play them on the Fire TV directly from that? I have a Fire TV 2 and it is rooted. Currently I’ve been using Plex to watch a few shows but Plex always crashes on my computer for no reason. Just want an easy way to watch video files of my choosing on the device.
Price appears to be up to $9.99 now, but a little FYI, be careful buying memory cards on Amazon from sellers other than Amazon. I’ve received a counterfeit memory card from a 3rd party seller before

I want to share my bad experience with these cheap products from SONY.
I bought last week two of these SONY 64GB SDXC Cards, and I received a broken and totally damaged product.
Unfortunately, these SONY 64GB MicroSDXC Cards came with a visible long opening in the center and for this reason it never worked, when I tried to use in a PC or in my new Amazon Fire-HD-8 Tablet!
I also tried to format these SDXC Cards without success, because these SDXC Cards can not be written or read, since it never appears as a external memory, as it should.
I have included some pictures in my “One Star” review of this product at Amazon.com, of the back of these 64GB MicroSDXC Cards, so all could see the damage and long crack on the back of the product:

Really I don’t know what is happening with SONY, but for some time now their products are of very questionable quality!
I just wanted to warn you all, before you go and get this really bad quality product.
Therefore, be very careful!
