A new software update for the Fire TV, version 51.1.4.2_user_514015320, has been posted to Amazon’s source code page. This usually means that select Fire TV’s will start to receive this update in the next few days, followed by a more widespread rollout. Unlike the previous update which brought Fire TV Stick features to the Fire TV, there aren’t really any announced features that we’re currently waiting for. So it’ll be interesting what new additions, if any, this new update brings. As always, I’ll post a full overview of what the update changes once I get my hands on it.
