Dumb question, how does it show up on my current Fire TV? Can I just do a search for it, or do I need to update the Fire TV somehow?

If you download it thru the Amazon App Store, then go to your Settings -> My Account -> Sync on your AFTV/Fire Stick.

Or as I mentioned in the other topic you can use the Fire TV’s search function to find it and install it on your Fire TV (or Stick).

I can’t get this to work, I have an AFTV bought from the USA and am using it with Unlocator’s smart DNS, when I try to install Sling it says something about “purchase information cannot be found” (I’m assuming because of my non USA IP), and I can’t find the proper APK to install, I downloaded a normal Android one but when I launch it it starts loading but never gets anywhere :(

I signed up to the 3 months discounted trial to Sling TV as a means to buy the AFTV for $49 instead of $99.
