The second season of Amazon’s original series Sneaky Pete has just debuted on Prime Video. The first season was very highly reviewed by most critics. It has a 100% score from critics on Rotten Tomatoes and an 8.2 out of 10 rating on IMDB. Amazon describes the series as: A con man (Giovanni Ribisi) on the run from a vicious gangster (Bryan Cranston) takes cover from his past by assuming the identity of his prison cellmate, Pete, “reuniting” with Pete’s estranged family, a colorful, dysfunctional group that threatens to drag him into a world just as dangerous as the one he’s trying to escape – and, just maybe, give him a taste of the loving family he’s never had.
The “Critics Rating” on Rotten Tomatoes has been shown to be complete nonsense, it isn’t worth mentioning. That said I enjoyed season 1 but it wasn’t 100% great. It wasn’t 90% great either. 8.2 is close.
Agreed…to be honest, I’d rather them have kept Jean-Claude Van Johnson instead.
