Amazon has announced that it will be streaming an NFL game on Black Friday, November 24, for free to anyone that wants to watch. You will not need a Prime membership to watch the game, as you do for all of Amazon’s other NFL game streams. Given how important of a shopping day that is to Amazon, you can probably expect plenty of Amazon shopping tie-ins and ads during the stream, but if you’re not a Prime member and have never watched one of Amazon’s game streams, this will be your chance to try it out without signing up for anything.
I wonder if they’ve ever done a survey to see how many people actually watch football?
Tivo is invaluable for watching NFL games. Record the game and then start the recording 2 hours into the game, skip to the beginning of every play, skip half time and complete watching the game in about an hour and you’re done about the time the game ends.
I really wish Amazon would spend their money more wisely.
I’ve been thinking the same since they dropped $500 million on a TV show no one asked for, and although cool, $1 billion on TNF.
Then they had the nerve to bump up the Prime subscription price too.
