In celebration of Transparent winning 5 Emmy awards, Amazon will be discounting Prime membership for one day only on Friday Septmeber 25th. Prime membership, which normally costs $99, will be only $67 from 12:00am ET to 11:59pm PT on Friday. Amazon ran a similar promotion when Transparent won 2 Golden Globes. However, this time around, they’ve discounted Prime membership by an additional $5, bringing it down to the lowest price I’ve ever seen. The discounted price will only be available to new Prime members and will only be for their first year of Prime.

If it’s like the previous reduced offers you should be able to gift it to yourself. Purchase and have it sent to yourself the day after your existing membership expires.
And remember to disable auto renew on your existing membership.
