As promised last month, Amazon is adding new games that Prime members can play for free on its Luna cloud gaming service during the month of April. Starting tomorrow, Prime members will be able to play the games Mortal Shell: Enhanced Edition and Amnesia: Rebirth for free, which normally require a subscrition to the Luna+ Channel. Also playable for free are the games King of Fighters ’98, which is part of the Retro Channel, and Tracks, which is part of the Family Channel. All four games can be played without any subscription fees during April, as long as you are a Prime member. For those of you who do have a subsctiption to the Luna+ Channel, the games Lost Judgment, Okami HD, and Sonic Colors are being added some time in April.
This continues to be cool. Also the addition of a console exclusives like ‘Lost Judgement’ should help bring in more subscribers.
Although I’ve been enjoying Luna so far, I have to use it via PC to hdmi on my tv because the app isn’t available for the Fire TV 2 for “reasons”. I’d use my Shield TV, but I’m not even gonna bother until NVidia completely sorts out the nightmare that is that update to Android 11.
Prime members should also be aware that in addition to these new Luna Cloud freebies, Amazon has been gifting some pretty awesome FULL-PC DOWNLOAD Games via Origin, Steam, Epic and other game stores.
In the last year, from ORIGIN alone I’ve received: Star Wars Squadrons, Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order, Dragon Age Inquisition, Need for Speed Hot Pursuit, Madden 22 and just this week Plants vs. Zombies.
These are all free (with Prime membership), high end games, yours to keep. I usually stick to Origin, but Amazon provided even more games through Steam and Epic.
Oh yes. Prime Gaming should get more attention here too.
