Prime Day 2021 Dates and Deals revealed by Amazon — Here are the live and upcoming deals

Amazon has announced that Prime Day 2021 will take place June 21 & 22. If you’re a Prime member and are in the market for a Fire TV, Fire Tablet, Echo device, Kindle, or any of Amazon’s devices, Prime Day will usually be when they reach their all-time lowest prices ever. To kick things off, Amazon has already put several Fire TV Edition televisions on sale as early Prime Day deals. In addition to regular price drops, Amazon has detailed several Prime Day promotions that are worth knowing about to maximize your savings.

Prime Day will officially start at midnight PDT on June 21, but Amazon typically starts some deals early. As always, I’ll be tracking and posting all the best device and gadget deals leading up to the big event, as well as non-stop deal posts all day during Prime Day. Bookmark this page, if you’d like, to see all of my Prime Day 2021 posts in one place.

The only Prime Day device deals going live today are for Fire TV Edition televisions. I’ll be posting a separate article specifically about these TVs and how good their prices are shortly, but, in short, the deals are as follows:

While not a device deal, starting today, Amazon is also offering the PC game Battlefield 4 for free to Prime members. Visit this page and click the “Claim Now” link to receive a digital code that can be used in EA’s Origin store for the game. This offer ends June 20.

Another deal that is already live is a promotion that earns you a $10 credit when you purchase a $40 Amazon gift card. Add $40 of gift cards to your cart, use promo code GIFTFORPD21 at checkout, and you’ll receive your $10 credit in 2 days.

Starting June 7, if you spend $10 on items sold by a participating small business, you’ll receive a $10 credit from Amazon that can later be spent on Prime Day. There aren’t any specifics on which items qualify for this promotion yet, but I’ll post more details once that’s revealed. Qualifying purchases must be made between June 7 and June 20 to receive the $10 credit for Prime Day.

On or near Prime Day, if you’re new to Amazon Music Unlimited, you’ll be able to get 4 months for free for signing up. That free period will be bumped up to 6 months free if you purchase select Amazon Echo devices on Prime Day. If podcasts are more your style, Amazon is already offering 4 months free of Wonderly+ as an early Prime Day deal. Wonderly+ is a subscription service that offers ad-free premium podcasts for $34.99 per year. If you prefer Audiobooks, you can already get 53% off on your first 4 months of Audible.

Lastly, there are a few promotions revolving around the Prime Visa Card and Prime Store Card. Starting today and lasting all month, you’ll get a $150 Amazon Gift Card upon approval of the Prime Rewards Visa. This is a must if you shop regularly on Amazon because it offers 5% cashback on all Amazon purchases. Amazon will be pumping that up to 6% on June 21 & 22 for Prime Day. There will also be qualifying products that give up to 25% cashback.

Those are all the important live and upcoming deals that Amazon has revealed so far. Amazon typically reveals specific device deals a few days before Prime Day starts, so be sure to check back for those. Remember, you can find all of my Prime Day 2021 related deal posts on this page.

You can also earn a $10 credit by opening Amazon Assistant for 5 days over the next 14 days!

I tried the promo code for the $10 credit on the purchase of $40 gift cards and it does not work :(

I got it to work, but you can’t send the card to your own email address that is on your Amazon account if you have previously purchased a gift card. When I switched to a secondary email address for delivery, the offer went through.

      • Strange that it didn’t work for you with your main email. It worked fine for me with my main Amazon account email and I already received and spent the $10. Either way, glad you got it to work a different way.

$10 Offer said it could not apply to my gift card. Always a problem!

Can anyone confirm the $10 credit on installing the Amazon Assistant? I can’t seem to find anything about it from Amazon directly. All I come up with is a $5 credit which had to be activated back in Feb. 21, 2020

    • It looks like it may be targeted. When I visit the page, it says:

For new Amazon Assistant customers, please install Amazon Assistant above and click on the ‘a’ icon in your browser to get started. You can earn your $10 credit by visiting Amazon Assistant five times within 14 days.

For existing Amazon Assistant customers, click on the ‘a’ icon in your browser to earn your $10 credit by visiting five times within 14 days.

Customers will need to visit Amazon Assistant no later than June 17th to earn their credit in time for Prime Day.

But it doesn’t say that if I’m logged out.

Elias can you elaborate on the Amazon Music Unlimited Deal? From your post I took it to mean “Wait until Prime day to purchase a select Echo device” and you will receive 6 Months of Amazon Music Unlimited for free with purchase.
But now the link in the article says this deal has expired? So will it it be back on Prime Day?
FYI I have never subscribed to Amazon Music Unlimited only the basic Amazon Prime Music included.
