  1. Ed Brinkis says:

An Update on Rooting for Fire TV OS 5.2.4.0 would be great (even as a regular feature of each newscast)

  2. Nate says:

    Hey Elias,

I know it is all speculation at this point, but I was very excited to read about Amazon potentially getting into the home security camera business with their own brand of products.

Given your experience with other products you found clues about pre-release, when could customers expect to hear any news about this product, if at all?

  3. C Moreno says:

Can you talk about the recent back orders on all Amazon Fire Sticks and Fire TV. Every retailer in California is currently out of stock on back order. This is the second time around all retailers have sold out this year……. can we expect this to be a regular occurrence is Amazon going to take any known action to better meat the demands?

  4. Ian King says:

How do I install and use the new XFINITY Stream app on a 2nd gen Fire TV

  5. Y314K says:

Is it still recommended that we install or reinstall the latest version of BusyBox after doing a clean update from FireOS 3 to FireOS 5 on our FTV1’s ?

  6. Lori says:

Well I finally broke down and set everything up so I could “ask Google” with my Dot. Followed the wonderful guide provided. The only problem is….I set all the accounts up with my name and email and our Amazon account is in my husband’s name and email. Do I have to start over? Is there an easier fix? :(

  7. AFTVuser says:

Given what I understand to be a slightly modified directory structure in Kodi Krypton (v17.0—beware the dot zeroes :-)), which I have not yet installed vs. Kodi Jarvis (v16.2), are any updates/changes required to the guides with regard to moving Kodi data to either a USB device or a microSD card?

  8. Mathew says:

When do you think the Fire TV 3 is coming out and what features/upgrades do you believe it’ll have? I want to buy a Fire TV box, but feel I should hold off until it’s out. But how much longer can I expect to wait?

  9. John Crabtree says:

Do you know when the 1st generation Fire TV box will be getting the 5.2.4 update?
Any word on Amazon live TV streams, similar to Hulu or DTV Now?
Any idea on Fire TV being able to use a USB Tuner and using the new TV interface?

  10. AFTVuser says:

As a semi-follow-up to my previous question concerning the movement of Kodi Krypton data to a USB device or a microSD card, when Krypton is installed on top of an existing Jarvis installation on the Fire TV where the Kodi Jarvis data is currently stored on either a USB or microSD device, will all of the settings be carried over from the existing Jarvis installation? If so, will the existing Jarvis “data movement” settings remain intact and viable on a USB or microSD card or will it be necessary to rerun them in order to utilize the storage devices?

    Thanks.

  11. Fred says:

Will the mouse toggle get banned? Will you ask Amazon if they can add this app to the Amazon appstore?

  12. Damien says:

    Probably a dumb question.
How does my amazon game controller know that i touched it?
I assume its to save battery im just curious.

    This has been affecting me…

I still very rarely use my microphone on my voice remote. But I want to. Any plans to make a “Top 10 ways to use Alexa on the Fire TV” post?

  15. Clint says:

When will quick start-up Kodi 17.1 Icon be on amazon fire tv home screen? 1 & 2nd generation models?
