Can you list some scripts to use to reboot Kodi when it hangs (freeze’s) or a rebooting app which could help? Rather than rebooting the Fire Tv? I’m using kodi via the SD card location not from the standard location. Thanks in advance
My AFTV1 is having issues with WIRED connection after i had to replace my router. While my AFTV2 connected just fine, so looks like there is a software glitch or something. Is there a way to rectifyy this other than doing a factory reset. I have a lot of 3rd party apps that i don’t want to install from scratch to fix the wired connection issue.

Sony made an announcement on their blog Wednesday that Playstation Vue will finally get 60fps on the fire TV. Do you have any idea when that will be? Was this a Sony issue or an Amazon issue? Any idea if 60fps will come to the fire stick?

2. How do you search for apps in play store? Is a keyboard necessary?
3. Is there a way to get into the ‘settings’ for TiBu? Choosing ‘settings’ goes back to ‘apps’.
4. What MAME app do you recommend? I can’t seem to get a game started with Mame4droid using my DS4.

Yesterday was my 3 year anniversary as a cordcutter. Prior to that I used a HDHomerun Prime and other tuner cards (about 4 years). Weird how I only downlod or stream legal content. Hmmmm

Hey, I’m having trouble with my kodi on AFTV2 up to date and all. Whenever I shut down kodi, restart FTV or hit home and open another app like Netflix or YouTube (there by closing kodi). I keep having to reset my background, along with my favorite apps & programs below the sources. What is doing that and how do I rectify it. Thanks in advance.

I was successfull in installing twrp & rooted my new firetv with rbox’s 5.0.5 prerooted rom, and installed xposed framework with hdx module. Is it possible to install other Android launchers other than firestarter without breaking normal startup?
I was particularly interested in trying Nova launcher but didn’t want to risk breaking anything, so I’m currently using firestarter until I find out that it’s safe to install other launchers.

When you were speculating about the capabilities of the next gen Fire tv. You were saying the it should be able to run 4K and HDR video/audio. Does that mean if you don’t have that type of TV, you should still use the current version of the Fire TV?

In fact, a short and sweet summary is better than a long dissertation unless the solution has real technical depth.
