Pandor has announced that they’ve updated their Fire TV app to now support their premium music service that offers on-demand streaming of the entire Pandora music library. While Pandora is best known for their free radio-like music that gives you limited control of what music plays, Pandora Premium is their answer to subscription music services like Spotify and Amazon Music Unlimited.
If you’re subscribed to the $9.99 per month Pandora Premium music service, the new Fire TV app lets you search the entire music catalog and play any song, album, or playlist at will. An autoplay feature lets the music keep playing based on your personalized taste. The app keeps track of all the songs you’ve thumbed up and makes them available anytime in a special playlist.
Pandora still offers their Pandora Plus music service for $4.99 per month. It’s just like the free service except there are no ads and you have unlimited skips and replays. The newer Pandora Premium service for $9.99 per month offers the same, but lets you play anything and everything in the library on-demand. The former is available with a 30-day free trial, while the new premium service comes with a 60-day free trial.
