Someone asked me if there was a way to see the most recent comments posted on AFTVnews in one place. I thought it was an interesting request, so, for anyone who is interested, you can now see the 50 latest comments at aftvnews.com/comments. It’s just a simple page that, for each recent comment, displays the post title, the recent comment, and the quoted comment that is being replied to, if applicable. You can also get to the Recent Comments page through a link in the navigation menu at the top of the site.

Why you don’t post the newly release or updated apps weekly(on mondays) like you use to do? I used to look forward to that, checking if anything interesting had been release
Sorry about that. Amazon doesn’t provide an easy way to know which apps are new because their list of new apps also includes any app that has been updated within the last 30 days. I had a complex script that crawled Amazon and generated the list of actually new apps that I used to post weekly. That script constantly needed to be maintained as Amazon changed things around. Since it stayed dormant/unmaintained for a year while I was working for Amazon, it’s so broken now that I basically need to start from scratch, which I haven’t had time to do. I still plan to revive it at some point, but I just don’t know when I’ll have the time.

I have found the way Amazon sorts and organizes their app store is a bit of a hot mess. To be honest, new and interesting apps are few and far between especially those compatible with Fire TV devices. Of course that’s mostly up to the app developers.
Agreed. Seems to be a result of the Amazon Appstore piggybacking on the regular Amazon Store system and never building out a dedicated system.
