This past week there were 34 new apps and games released for Amazon Fire TV devices. TriviaMaker TV is an app that lets you create your own Jeopardy-style trivia games to run on your Fire TV device. Be careful with the new app PlexHDTV because their $29 a month IPTV subscription which includes over 70 channels, including HBO, is probably too good to be true. Continue on for the full list of new apps and games released in the last 7 days.

Looks like PlexHDtv is another Omniverse reseller. Including Hbo and Cinemax is a red flag
What is Omniverse? The offer does look too good to be true and the app doesn’t seem to exist on Amazon anymore
All pretty in the glossy web page, but the PLEX.TV official website has no reference to this service whatsoever which makes me very wary. Several references to PlexTV on the plexhd.tv website, and the packages labelled as “PlexTV Premium” – yet without any information on how to install this as a service onto the official Plex.TV server or client app.
The best deal on this website would be getting the $25 [$15 device + $10 shipping] (current price as of 09-FEB-2019) box with 2 remotes. Of course, it NEVER says that it’s ‘AndroidTV’, so I’m guessing it’s a fake AndroidTV box that’s a tablet version of Android with a customized skin.
My ultimate question: Why would AFTVNews propagate this service as a valid service when with 5 minutes of looking would throw up more red flags than a NASCAR race???
