What is the difference between. Android phone/tablet and old fire tv and new fire TV Netflix apps?
will this new release of Netflix work on version 51.1.1.0 that has been rooted?
No, you have to update to “51.1.4.0_514006420 updated” rooted ROM for the new Netflix to work.
As a matter of fact, the new Netflix app won’t install if you don’t update the ROM.

You show Table Top Racing as being a new app, but it’s been available the Fire TV for a while.
The full paid version has been out for a while. The free version listed above was released Oct 28th.
Was anybody able to get the M.A.C.E for free.. I only see it for $1.99 or 199 coins… That has been the case since 8PM last night..
It was free for a very short time. Just a few hours. It may have even been a price mistake considering how quickly it went back to $1.99

So no real reason to have the new Netflix other then the new white look of the app? I have a rooted fire TV still on 5.1.1.1. I’m wondering since I have a phone/ tablet Netflix on my fire TV what is the difference between the old fire TV Netflix and the new fire TV Netflix and the newest updated phone/tablet Netflix I side loaded? I don’t see really what’s the big deal of having to have the update Netflix. Can any one explain?
I’m not sure what you mean by “new white look” as only the app button is white.
The difference is that new version is more “TV oriented”. It has better navigation and lay out for the big screen. The new version is now closer to how the Hulu Plus app is laid out.
If you have the new version on your phone/tablet and attempt to sideload it, it will not work correctly because that version is not meant to work with a remote.
I have side loaded Netflix and for me it works perfect. I say white Netflix because that’s what is shows on here on the review.mine shows as a red Netflix. I have side loaded many apps with out any problem. Not sure what your talking about when you say problem with it? Thanks for the reply.
Never mind seems I had the old Netflix. Lol.ill update it and side load it.
