New Apps for the Week of October 15th thru the 21st

This week there were 30 new apps and games released for the Amazon Fire TV and Fire TV Stick. Jackbox Games has released Jackbox Party Pack 4, which is their latest collection of party games for 2-8 players. IndieFlix is a new streaming service focused on indipendent films. Their catalogue consists of over 4,000 films and costs $4.99 per month or $39.99 per year with a 7-day free trial. Tubi has released an all new app this week. They're a completly free streaming service with movies and TV shows. Continue on for the full list of new apps and games released in the last 7 days.

   Is this the first appearance of Tubi on the FTV? I know it’s been on Roku for a long time.

     No, not the first appearance. Tubi seems to prefer to release a new app instead of updating their existing one. This new app is the 3rd one that I know of.

   Any news on the new Mohu Airwave (Antenna and Over the Air Tuner Combo) for those not familiar? While it sounds promising. I hear it’s been a rocky start for early adopters. Problems appear to be mainly software related and not the hardware. I would love to see you do a review but it might be too early considering the problems they are having at launch. This is a quality manufacturer and they are working hard on the bugs and fixes this could be game changer if they get the technical issued worked out and the price point is right. Currently available on Moho’s site and Best Buy $149.00. Saw a similar device at Walmart looks like a larger version of a Fire TV Stick it was called ClearStreamTV $99 if memory serves me. Any info or a comparison would be greatly appreciated.

   Just a follow up I posted here because it works in conjunction with a Moho App that’s appears as a TV guide with reported 14 day look ahead.
   You basically click on a listing to watch content from what I have read.
   Sorry if this sounds like an Ad but I’m really interested in this and close to giving it a try if it delivers on the promise.
