Here is the list of new apps for the Amazon Fire TV and Fire TV Stick that were released last week. There were 71 new apps released. Of the 52 games released, most are not worth your time, but as always, I've tried to sort the list with the better games on top. A couple noteworthy apps are VLC and LocalCast.

Has anyone been able to side load “Google Play Movies” app and get it to work on the FireTV or Fire Stick?

  YouTube app. Go to Purchases. Everything you own in Google Play is there.

There seems to be a deluge of crappy apps recently. Often there are multiples from the same developer. What’s going on?
