Sadly, it looks like the NASA TV app won’t get updated. My latest submission (some bug corrections) got knocked back because:
1/ the name was deceptive – it used “NASA” but wasn’t from NASA… just like the other apps in the store – even though the description calls out the fact it’s unofficial pretty clearly
2/ apparently it can be used to facilitate piracy or the download of illegal material. Not sure how playback of a public stream from a respect US Science organization falls into either of those categories!
Oh well, looks like despite #2 they’re leaving it there (for the moment) so feel free to grab it, rate it, let me know what you’d like changed (if I am ever able to update it – the pending version has a better treatment on the channel identification, and I am limited to whatever video/data NASA choose to make publicly available)
