My revamped buyer’s guide for all of Amazon’s hardware devices is now up. Instead of making it a post like last time, I’ve made it a permanent section of the site that I will continuously update. The guide lists all Fire TV, Fire TV Stick, Fire Tablet, Echo, Tap, and Kindle models currently in production. Each device has an “okay” price, a “good” price, and a “great” price to help you determine where future sales compare to prices we’ve seen in the past. I’ve also added a list of recent releases for each device to help you gauge if the device might be updated soon. You can always easily find the buyer’s guide in the main navigation menu at the top of the site.
Very cool. Thanks!
Your maths are wrong.
April 12, 2014 > 542 days.
The “days” number is how many days passed between releases, not how many days ago from today the model was release. So it’s 542 days between April 12 2014 to Oct 5 2015, the release dates of the Fire TV 1 and Fire TV 2.
I’ve updated the section title to make it clearer, but I’ll probably update the layout of those bars soon to make it clearer.
Great site. I enjoy reading it every day. Keep up the good work.
