Amazon has just picked up a new mafia crime series starring Robert De Niro and Julianne Moore, according to Deadline. The untitled series is the brain child of writer-director David O. Russell, best known for movies like Joy, American Hustle, and Silver Linings Playbook. The project created quite a buzz as it was being shopped around before it landed at Amazon with a two-season commitment in a $160 million deal. With A-list actors like De Niro and Moore, this new series will undoubtedly be one of Amazon’s flagship shows.

This alone justifies buying Amazon Prime. Seeing Robert de Niro’s face every week on the small screen will be heaven!
So, I heard Robert is getting paid $850k per episode. I hope Prime fees don’t go up soon.
