Jean-Claude Van Damme will be starring in a new pilot for Amazon, according to The Hollywood Reporter. In Van Damme’s first TV role, he’ll play a martial arts actor who comes out of retirement to return to his secret profession as an undercover private contractor. The series will be called Jean-Claude Van Johnson and will likely makes its appearance in one of Amazon’s future pilot seasons. Dave Callaham, writer for the Expendables movie, is onboard to write the pilot episode, so you that should give you some idea of what to expect from the potential new series.
