Insignia releases its first 75-inch budget 4K Fire TV Smart TV

A new Insignia 75-inch F30 Series Fire TV Smart TV has just made an appearance on Best Buy’s website. The F30 Series of Insignia Fire TV Smart TVs were first released in the middle of 2021 with several sizes that topped off at 55 inches. Insignia later released 58-inch, 65-inch, and 70-inch Fire TV Smart TVs in the same line, but has now pushed the size even further with this new 75-inch TV. The F30 Series is Insignia’s least expensive line of Fire TV Smart TVs, while its F50 Series TVs are its premium TVs, thanks to their QLED panels.

Although this new 75-inch Insignia Fire TV Smart TV is being released in 2022, it’s still technically a 2021 model and appears to share the same specs as the existing F30 Series TVs released last year. Since this is a budget TV, it features 4K HDR capabilities but does not appear to support Dolby Vision or HDR10+. All specs for the new TV aren’t listed yet, but I expect it to have a MediaTek MTK T31/L Cortex-A55 quad-core 1.5 GHz CPU and Mali-G52 MP1 GPU with 2GB of RAM.

If you value screen size and low cost over all other characteristics, then this is the Fire TV Smart TV for you. It currently has a list price of $849.99 but you can probably expect that to drop by around 20-25% once the next major sale rolls around. At 75-inches, this matches the largest Fire TV Smart TV models. Toshiba’s C350 Series TV, Toshiba’s M550 Series TV, and Amazon’s Omni Series TV are the other three Fire TV Smart TV models that come in 75-inch sizes. Those TVs have list prices of $899.99, $1,399.99, and $1,099.99, respectively.

What version of standalone Fire TV does the built in version on this TV compare to?
