How to watch the first 2016 US Vice Presidential Debate for FREE on the Amazon Fire TV or Fire TV Stick

The first vice presidential debate between Hillary Clinton’s running mate Tim Kaine and Donald Trump’s running mate Mike Pence is tonight, October 4th. The debate will begin at 9pm Eastern / 6pm Pacific. Here is how to watch it for free on an Amazon Fire TV or Fire TV Stick.

YouTube App

There will be several news outlets streaming the debate live through the YouTube app for free. As of right now, NBC and The Washington Post already have their streams setup. From the home screen of the YouTube app, if you press up once and scroll right through the available tabs, you’ll get to the “Live” tab where you’ll find additional streams once the debate starts.

Twitter App

Twitter will be streaming the debates at debates.twitter.com and through their new Twitter app for the Fire TV and Fire TV Stick. You’ll also be able read live tweets about the debate next to the video stream if you’d like.

CBS News

The free CBS News app for the Fire TV and Fire TV Stick will also be streaming the debate live. You do not need to activate this app or login with a cable provider to watch the live stream.

Bloomberg TV via Pluto TV

Bloomberg TV will be streaming the debate live. You can watch the stream via the free Pluto TV app.
