Great deals on refurbished Fire TV Sticks drop prices to new lows — 4K Max is $29.99, Firestick Lite is $12.99, and more

Amazon has put all the Certified Refurbished versions of its Fire TV Sticks on sale today. Buying refurbished Amazon devices, which I have done many times without any issues, is a great way to save just a little bit more than usual. The most notable deal is the Fire TV Stick 4K Max for $29.99. This is the new lowest price for a 4K Max that has ever been available and saves you an extra $5 off the current $34.99 sale price of the new model. For those wanting to spend less but stick to 4K, you can get the Fire TV Stick 4K for $21.99, which matches the lowest price it has ever been. Dropping down to the 1080p models will save you a bit more and get you the latest 3rd-gen Fire TV Stick for $16.99. This is a new low for the refurbished Fire TV Stick and is $3 less than it has been in the past which matches the Prime Day price for those of you wanting that price but aren’t Prime members. Lastly, the Fire TV Stick Lite is $12.99 which is also a new low that is $4 less than the refurbished model has been in the past. While all the other refurbished deals include the latest remotes, this Fire TV Stick Lite deal includes the older remote that doesn’t come with app shortcut buttons along the bottom. Otherwise, the included remote is identical to the latest Lite remote..

Waiting for the Cube 3rd gen to go on sale. Hopefully soon.

Not enough storage. Developers are revoking permission to install apps on external storage and the original 4k stick doesn’t even allow it in the first place.

Rik Emmett there is a way to use expanded storage and always has been as well as you can root these devices now . I haven’t heard of any devs restricting permission, but I don’t know them all . That said I am a dev myself . All that said , the fire cube 3rd gen is probably the best fire device to get right now between storage and internal specs.

I got a refurbished 2nd gen cube for $50 a few months ago. Thought I could get by with a fire tv stick lite, with an ssd, but a few apps that could initially be installed on external storage received updates that kept failing. Had uninstall and reinstall only to find there was no option to install on external storage.
