Amazon is currently giving $1 Instant Video Credit if you opt for their slower No-Rush shipping option when purchasing items eligible for Prime shipping. As far as I can tell, all Prime eligible items qualify for this promotion, even items that cost less than $1. This means, you can get $1 video credit for spending less than $1. The cheapest Prime eligible item I could find is this $0.12 compression sleeve. Sure enough, when you add it to your cart, the $1 video credit option appears. Since there doesn’t seem to be a limit to how many $1 credits you can earn, you can technically purchase this $0.12 item numerous times and essentially buy Amazon Instant Video credit for 88% off.
LOL! Little jab back at the man.
How do you view your credit balance?
I have a post showing how to check all of your different credit balances here: http://www.aftvnews.com/how-to-check-your-amazon-coin-and-credit-balances/
@Rick: Click on a movie or TV show that’s under Instant Video. Then click on the “redeem a giftcard or promotion” link. It’s so absurdly hidden.
problem is your credit card/bank account might get flagged for fraud for doing this
I did 25 orders of the 12 cent items this morning!!
How long does it take for the credits to show up? I’m not seeing it on my account yet:(
The credit shows up once your order ships.
The item now comes in a 10-pack for $3.66, FYI.
I’ll not try and see all of them- but the second item shows this error message:
We’re sorry!
An error occurred when we tried to process your request. Rest assured, we’re working to resolve the problem as soon as possible.
If you were trying to make a purchase, please check Your Account to confirm that the order was placed. We apologize for the inconvenience.
Looks like some of the the items caught their attention.
Thanks for reporting this bug! We’ll fix it immediately.
it’s better to get a gift card that you’d actually use (subway, starbucks, petco etc) and get this credit, that was there’s no money spent.
