Amazon just dropped the price of the Fire HD 10 Tablet + Echo Dot bundle to $149.99. That’s the same price as you would pay for the tablet alone, so you’re essentially getting the $49.99 Echo Dot for free. Better yet, if you use an Amazon Prime Visa or an Amazon Prime Store Card you’ll receive an additional 10% cashback, thanks to a separate promotion that ends today. That brings the total price for the pair to $134.99. The Fire HD 10 tablet is Amazon’s newest and most powerful tablet. I’ve owned one since it was released and have been very happy with it. That’s thanks to the fact that it has plenty of power, since it has the same CPU and GPU as the Fire TV 2, a great 1080p screen, and you can install the Google Play Store on it in a matter of minutes without needing to root the tablet.
I bought this HD10 for $85 bucks Last year at Target! I don’t this is a deal!
Just because a sale doesn’t beat the previous lowest price ever, that doesn’t mean it’s not a deal and not worth telling people about. The lowest the Fire HD 10 has ever been on Amazon is $99.99 and the lowest the Echo Dot has ever been on Amazon is $29.99. That’s $129.98 combined, so this deal is only $5 more than Amazon’s lowest price ever for people with a Prime card. I’ll defend that as a deal worth posting about any day.
Congrats on getting the tablet for $85 at Target. That was a very rare one-time occurrence, which I posted about, where Target was matching Amazon’s Cyber Monday prices and simultaneously running their own site-wide 15% off sale for Cyber Monday. It’s highly unlikely to see two major sales stack like that, so telling people to not buy until that happens again could be the same as telling people to never buy.
Thanks, just ordered! Waited to buy both and opened credit card for the extra discount too.
