There is no definitive list of apps that qualify, but it doesn’t have to be a paid app. I “purchased” Pandora for free and received the credit. I’ve also heard todays Free App of the Day, Escape From Work, will also earn you the free credit. You will receive an email about the free credit after purchasing a qualifying app. The promotion is valid for the entire year.
